    So I recently bought this router it’s great for downloading stuff fast but when I’m playing a game all it does is lag on me to the point playing is not fun. I would only recommend this if you aren’t a gamer.

      This could actually have more to do with the servers you are connecting to and the overall upload speed of your ISP connection. What I would suggest is contacting support at support.usa@tp-link.com to see if our teams are able to help isolatie and provide a resolution for you, tplink

    I was not able to get this to work on high speed spectrum. I could connect to the internet but was constantly being dropped. I also had a phantom router appearing on my tether app. The app showed two routers. I also found article on CNET and Forbes warning that this router is easily hacked. I got a netgear router and my problems are gone.

    I like that the 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz channels are combined. The range is not the best, i use a wifi range extender near our t.v room.
