Customers find value in the Deco XE75 Pro's ease of use, extensive coverage, and strong signal, with many praising the straightforward setup and excellent performance. The system's range is also frequently highlighted as a significant benefit. While some users experienced connection issues and found the parental controls limited, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns for most. Our house is a mid century ranch. There is an older type of Sheetrock that makes up the walls. We have some I-steel beams through the basement. All combined our WiFi had dead zones with previous internet service providers. We cut the cable and reached out to our new fiber optic internet service provider. I was told to purchase a mesh WiFi network to add to their modem and router. They mentioned a different brand. I chose to do some reading and research and the online reviews of this TP link system were excellent, including those pc magazines. Best Buy’s store personnel went over devices but said this is a great system and easy to set up. It was! Our WiFi is vastly improved in the house.

I bought this for a multi storied house with concrete walls, most wifi routers struggle to get the signals to the second floor even when we keep the router in a centralized location with a clear path to the rooms upstairs, this router has been stellar and the wifi signals reach the security cameras outside home and also the TV and laptops upstairs. The point that It was easy to setup is just an living on the cake.

Excellent router that penetrates my lathe and plaster walls with no issues. Easily doubled the range so my security cameras would stop dropping signals from all the chicken wire in my walls. Set up was a breeze and the app has a great UI. The only thing I dont like is the parental controls are terrible if you don't subscribe to the extras.

Helped a weak AT&T modem/router to turn the entire house into a hotspot. Turned off the router portion of the AT&T modem. Very impressed with the ease of set up as well.

I purchased this set because it came extraordinarily well recommended. I returned the units because they were either defective or just could not even remotely deliver what my older [non-mesh] Asus router was delivering. My speeds would routinely top out at ~40Mbps — with a dedicated channel serving as wireless backhaul — while my old router, and the [non-mesh] Asus that replaced it hit 800Mbps or more basically right out the box. Everything else in my setup was the same, so there was no reason for the inconsistency. The download speed was so slow my 990 Evo NVME could have been a USB 3.1 thumb drive and still kept up with my Steam downloads. The good news is that the Asus Rog router I am now using was less than half the price and delivers in every possible way, so hopefully this serves as a warning to anyone that might need it.

      Hi zero,

Thank you for your review. Based on the speed test results you shared, we first recommend checking whether the device(s) you tested with are connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, which is more prone to interference and congestion. If your connected devices support it, we recommend setting their band prioritization to give higher priority to the 5 GHz or 6 GHz bands to achieve the best speed and throughput.

If you have any remaining questions or concerns about your Deco XE75 Pro, our Support Team is always available and happy to help via phone, live chat, or email through the Support Portal on our official TP-Link website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/contact-technical-support/

Having constant issues with connection dropping. The support is isn't very helpful. Although the range and strength are very good, it's the constant connection drop that is a neausance.

My wife and I both work from home and needed good strong wifi to cover a 5000+ sq ft area in our newly purchased house. Want to be able to get a good signal inside and out by the pool. I read a lot of great reviews about these on this site, and from "professionals" on several others. Here's the entire event unfolded. Setup was very easy and only took a few min through the app. It took longer to choose a new network name than anything. Connected 3 Samsung TVs that are 1 year old, a laptop, two iPhones, and hardwired a PC to the main unit. All of this was completed in roughly 10 min. I was super happy and decided to take a shower and get ready to relax and watch some TV before going to sleep. That's where the whole thing turned south. Turn on the TV in the fireplace room and within 5 min of a show it starts buffering. Thought it was odd, but it's a new system that has some "smart" technology built in. Restarted the TV and everything was fine for about 3.4 min, and buffering again. Then I start running some tests. We have a 1 gig service through Spectrum, and can consistently get between 875 mgb and 1.1 gbps everywhere in the house with the wifi router that they sent. Tested on the phone with the Deco, 475-560 and it didn't matter if I was 15 ft, or 5 inches away from the the pretty little can of frustration. Tried my laptop, same issues. Slower speeds than on the one provided by Spectrum. Guess what happened when I turned on the other TVs.... THAT'S RIGHT! BUFFERING !!!! Needless to say I was not happy in the slightest little bit. I spent almost $500 on this with the extended warranty, and it is now back in the original box, I have put my original router from Spectrum back in place, and will have my refund very soon.

Bought these to replace my 1 year old eeros after they started acting up. So far I’m very satisfied with the Decos. I’ve added another satellite with thoughts of adding another for the basement.
