Well, I have the fastest internet speed available in my area, and these have by far failed my expectations. Set up was simple enough, the app interface is fine, and I was up and running in minutes. However, I have a small 1500 sq ft house, and have one pod in a triangulation placement within it for coverage. The connections are horribly spotty. Lagging, buffering and signal dropout a plenty. I did not have this issue with my single Linksys EA9300 Tri-band router. The reason for the upgrade was for newer tech and hopefully faster speeds, and by a recommendation from the Best Buy employee, who stated he had the "same set". This set absolutely stinks as far as connective reliability goes. It's just dismal. They all go "offline" at random intervals, and don't want to stay connected. God, how I wish I had returned them. One should not have to reboot the modem and everything else on a daily basis just to have Wi-Fi. You have got to be kidding me. Stick with Linksys. $300 Fail.

Overall I am very satisfied with the Deco mesh system. We just bought a new home, two story, and used this 3 pack to distribute internet. It is reliable, no issues with maintaining connection, supports both my wife and I who work from home, and handles TV streaming very well.

I've only had these for a little while but they work great. I'm running wired backhaul and the speeds are excellent.

Great product. We have a 2 story home and this has been seamlessly providing coverage throughout all rooms in our house.

I bought two three packs Memorial Day weekend and set these units up. Install was pretty straight forward. However these units kept dropping out and went into a ‘red’ state. I would reboot the entire system and it would come back up. I even did a factory reset on the entire system and set up a ‘vanilla’ WiFi system where I didn’t make any changes. The system appeared to be working again but in less than 24 hours the entire system went ‘red’ again. Thankfully for Veterans Day, my weekly trash collection was a day behind. Because of this I was still able to go dig in the trash and get the packaging back to return these items. I had previously had google nest WiFi mesh system for the past 10 years. These worked amazingly, but I wanted to try something else as the admin side of the Google products are very lacking. After wasting 8+ hours trying to get these to work , I was able to return them. I decided to upgrade to the latest Google nest WiFi mesh pucks. Even though the admin side of these systems is not great, I did not have the will power to fight another WiFi mesh system. Save your time and energy and skip this garbage product! Also one more thanks for the veterans not only protecting our freedom, but also saving me from being stuck with this garbage product!

Nothing bothers me more than and bait and switch. This setup is advertised as coming “home shield” and also “parental control”. I chose this unit over the Amazon units because they say they only offer this as a paid subscription—where as TPlink says theirs comes with it. It does…and it is free like advertised…for 30days and then it’s a subscription. It’s the main reason I went with this setup over the competition.

Easy to install, no issues since then. Plugged old router in to daisy chain off the new system. Worked great!
