A little bait and switch.

This setup is advertised as coming “home shield” and also “parental control”. I chose this unit over the Amazon units because they say they only offer this as a paid subscription—where as TPlink says theirs comes with it. It does…and it is free like advertised…for 30days and then it’s a subscription. It’s the main reason I went with this setup over the competition.

IM NOT TECH SAUVE, SOMEONE WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE PROBABLY COULD SET UP EASIER. CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE FROM DECO AND DIDNT GET MUCH HELP. ENDED UP RETURNING FOR A DIFFERENT SYSTEM.

We have two 4k smart tv's, 3 laptops with 2 students, a home security system, Alexa devices in every room, smart controls of the garage, 5 gaming systems, 5 cell phones, lights, thermostats and many others. We never have slow or dropped service. Everything runs faster and smoother and our picture quality improved drastically.
