Wifi router have good coverage no problem installing

When I upgraded my home internet to 1.2 Gbps, I wanted a newer wifi system to take advantage of the speed. I replaced my trusty 6 year old Netgear Orbi wifi with this. Boy do I wish I had not bothered. The system worked for a while, but the last several months have just been an increasing nightmare, as the internet signals slow or drop altogether. I'm no neophyte (my networking experience dates back to the good old days when you had to crimp your own cables) - so I've assured myself the issue is not with the cable modem, internet or interference. TP-Link tech support has been utterly useless - nothing but level 1 form letters ignoring everything I already told them and running me through a pointless list of "turn it off and turn it on" exercises doing nothing to increase stability. As I work from home regularly, I can't afford to have to reset my network three or four times per day. if you look in prominent online forums, my problem is unfortunately not unusual. It's quit commong. As I can't wait for TP-Link to fix this issue, these things are close to getting chucked in the garbage, and I'll bite the bullet and buy a new Netgear , Amplifi or Eero solution. This will be my first (and last) TP-Link purchase. I caution you all to consider alternatives rather than waste your money with this lemon.

I'm in IT and wanted to buy something for home that was as close to pro-grade as possible.. and deco TP-LINK was definitely a good buy.

When it stays connected it works great. It was fairly easy to setup and works great, WHEN it stays connected. I have researched and done everything that is suggested to do and yet 3-4 times a day, minimum, it will disconnect from modem. Its very frustrating and would return if not past the return window. Going to keep trying but may have to look for something better if i can't fix this issue.

This setup wasn't cheap, but it sure allowed me to have amazing WIFI in my entire house and garage!

I returned this item. Didn’t realize that only wi-if 6E compatible devices can connect to the 6hz band and I don’t have any such devices. I got the deco w7200 tri-band router instead-and it has been awesome. Still, it’s a good prod it at a good price, and I would recommend this to anyone who has 6E compatibility.

I have had an eero for years with no problems. However I bought this after hearing about all the great reviews set up was fairly straightforward and not that bad however, the actual products I’m disappointed in one of the routers is constantly going off-line and is constantly in a red state. I’m not sure if it’s defective or what the issue is. The other two routers also have connections issues. I was still constantly having to switch back to my old Wi-Fi net work so due to this, I am returning this product and just getting comparable eero router.

It's a very nice system, and let's me know if anybody else connects to. It gives me status updates. I have you recommend it.

Easy setup. Now I have WIFI through the whole house!

I was hoping the faster wireless backhaul on these would speed things up for me. I replaced 3 Orbi satellites (RBR/RBS50) with these in the exact location. The speed reduced significantly at different distances from the satellites. When connected to the Wifi 5 band the "speed" went from Orbi 150mbps to TP-link 37mpbs. I reran the tests several times and had the latest firmware installed. This was at the furthest point I typically connect to Wifi out by the pool. At a device close to a satellite the speed went from Orbi 300mpbs to TPLink 270mpbs. I also experienced frequent "hanging" on my PC as if it was disconnecting throughout the day. This happened at least a dozen times a day over a week. When I switched back to the Orbi setup the PC hangs went away. These had good reviews everywhere but the old Orbi outperformed them easily. Returned

Super easy to set up using the app. Speed is strong between nodes and to devices throughout the house. Range is my only real complaint. It can't penetrate to the outside at all, not even next to a window to an outdoor camera.

I love the wifi routers!! They hve doubled the download speeds in our house!!
