    Terrible product, my WiFi constantly drops, one or two decos will just lose WiFi connection even though it’s hard wired to the AT&T modem/router. I end up having to reboot the deco to restore WiFi. I confirmed that my internet was working. Messaging support they try to have me t/s my modem which is working fine. Then they tell me to swap the deco’s around. Great so now WiFi on main works but I have random the others randomly lose WiFi so I basically spent money on a paper weight.

    Reliability issues constantly

    When they work they are fine. Unfortunately their reliability is awful. We have frequent disconnect and speed issues even wired. Furthermore there is a well documented issue about the LAN ports simply not working.

    This item is a piece of junk. Devices disconnect randomly and the speed is very poor. Google reddit reviews to see more for yourself - I'm confident this isnt a "me" issue as it seems to be pervasive with others using this setup. Best Buy's return policy on something they sell that takes days-weeks to diagnose is terrible too and they shouldn't be selling products that dont work as advertised.

      Hi,

      Thank you for sharing your experience with our product. It sounds like your cable modem's MAC (Media Access Control) binding needs to be released and renewed so it can provide an IP address (and Internet) to the Deco Mesh system. This can typically be done using the following steps:

      1. Unplug the power from both your main Deco and cable modem
      2. Unplug the coax cable from the modem
      3. Re-connect power ONLY to your cable modem
      4. Wait until the cable modem is fully booted, then re-connect coax
      5. Re-connect power to the main Deco and connect it to the modem via Ethernet

      This process should release and renew the MAC binding, so your modem can provide connectivity to the Deco Mesh System.     Can't get to work with Starlink

    I am using the Starlink ethernet adapter and this mesh system won't connect to the internet. I move it to another that has ATT internet and it connects with no issues. Really disappointed as reviews on other sites suggested this was one of the best for starlink. I tried contacting tp link support and reply email advised they would respond in 1 bus day... That was a joke, no reply and no help. Probably going to return unless geek squad can fix.

    Terrible coverage, mesh is useless. Better coverage with WiFi 5 router and an extender. Horrible Ping time, dropped signal and poor refresh rate. Signal test says nothing but testing using a WiFi network analyzer shows how bad it is

    I can’t review the product because the store doesn’t care enough to get it to my house. The store in Sherman Tx has terrible customer service. My appointment for install was scheduled and then canceled without my notification. Regardless of the reason for cancellation, some type of notification was merited.

    TP-Link Deco xe75 is not very good

    Did not like. Video conference calls were very choppy when sitting within 6 feet if router. Quickly boxed it up and returned for a full refund. Hooked back up my older 10 year old wifi mesh network and video conference calls returned to normal. My internet speed is 1Gb down and 35Mb up.

    Had to return, reduced my 2 gig fiber to less than to dsl speed I had years ago. Nothing I did improved it.

    Download the TP-Link application on your phone before disconnecting your main router. This will help avoid potential issues. I found this router hard to set up at first, the trick is to use the software and follow it step by step. There is no password on the router, so the setup is all by the app that you need to download on your phone first. After I got everything up and running all worked fine with real good speed, but still even after getting everything up and running I was tempted to return this router and a ASUS instead, then I found out that ASUS uses the same setup through software to setup there routers and so this rating also goes for just about all routers out there today because most of them are all setup with their own software app. Can I recommend this router, well yes but no. This is because it is a little harder to do than the old routers that used a password, but ASUS and the others use the same setup app today and so it is hard to say if it is for you if this router is easy or hard to setup over there others.

    Bought this as a replacement for a 7 year old Nighthawk. The mesh works seamlessly in a 2500 sq ft ranch. It was an upgrade to the single router system. I hard wired one satellite to the base unit. Very pleased with the speed and performance so far.

    These are so much better than the old TP link ones. We are transmitting all over our property and everything is fast. My kids game off of 2 of them. at over 250-450/mbs over 100' from the main deco. So nice not running wire! Next to upgrade my actual internet.
