    Not in any way easy to set up. Tried to work with support and uninstalled and installed numerous times, unplugged and plugged; also tried using the beta link that the support rep gave me -which didn't bring me to an app just a website, but the notifications settings doesn't work. Every time I select notification settings I want it doesn't save them and keeps showing that notifications is off. Now it won't connect and is frozen trying to connect. A total waste of a day. Now I have to go thru the hassle of returning this useless device.

If the Notification settings in the Kasa app are showing disabled, despite your attempts to enable them, we recommend opening your smartphone's main settings interface to ensure Notifications are enabled for the Kasa app. For example, if the Notification settings are toggled off in the phone's main settings menu, the Kasa app cannot override this, nor can they be enabled until toggled On in the main settings menu.

    Over and over again i tried connecting to my wifi and it would not want to connect i was standing right next to my router and nada. Going with a different brand.

      Thank you for your review. Our Kasa Cameras are designed for quick and easy setup using the Kasa app. If you're having difficulty connecting the camera to your network during setup, please ensure your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong at the device's location.

      Please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.
