A: When motion activity is detected, the camera can track and follow the subject to keep it within view using the Motion Tracking feature.
Q: Does it work through glass, if I put by window will it work to see outside
A: Yes but the night vision needs to be turned off for seeing at night. Otherwise you will get a reflection blur from it
Q: Do I have to get a subscription to Kasa if using more than one camera or product?
A: No. You can use these without a subscription. Just use an sd card instead for recordings
Q: Can it record without being connected to internet?
A: Hi! Yes, the camera supports local storage via Micro SD card (not included). That being said, please note that a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with Internet connectivity will be required at the time of setup.
Q: Do I need DVR to replay and store files?
A: Youneed a SD card. You can always download the file to your computer.
Q: Can I view the camera when I’m away?
A: Yes, as long as the camera is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, and your phone has Internet access (either via Wi-Fi or cellular data).
