    I get this one work for the first time at home. Later I toke it out try to install it for work location. Tried over ten times fail to connect. I thought may be my router at work, so I take it home try to install fail to install also. Since it passed the return days. Now I just use it as a paper weight.

    Was unable to setup. App kept crashing and setup failed. Spent many hours upon hours trying to connect 2 cameras to their application which should not be that difficult. Support is not in the US and responds (not in a timely manner) at off hours not reading the issue noted but responding with a generic canned reply. Could not get personal assistance and felt I was hitting a dead end wall with the lack of assistance with TP support thus returned the cameras.

Our Kasa smart plugs, bulbs, cameras and switches are designed for quick and easy setup using the Kasa app. If you're having difficulty connecting them to your network during setup, please ensure your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong at the smart device's location.

      Please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.

    After a while, they’ll stop connecting to Wi-Fi and also if you update the app, they might not work anymore as well

Within the Kasa app, there's a feature that allows you to measure Wi-Fi signal strength of your Kasa devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.

      If the signal is within the ideal range, and you're still experiencing these symptoms, please ensure your Kasa Smart app is up-to-date, then update your smart device's firmware by selecting Me → Firmware Update within the Kasa app.

    Not as good as I hoped it would be. It is a very basic camera, and it loses connection a lot.

    Not able to invite others via app. No family sharing of any kind. Must give username and password to account that setup the camera, not advisable unless you want to give away access to your other TP Link devices as well.

    This item is not that bad for its price everything works great only issues with it is the motion tracking is really late and the mobile app barely work takes 1-2min to load the live view and by then if someone broke into your house they could of hid from the cams view.

    This little camera worked great for about 3 weeks. Good video quality, very sensitive to motion and the night vision was good too. Setup was very easy too. THEN all of a sudden it wouldnt stay connected to the Kasa cloud. Im returning it. Its not worth the money spent. Im very disappointed.

    DUD - BUYER BEWARE!

    The camera doesn't pan and take at least 5 to 10 minutes before it connects to Wifi. When I place the camera within a foot of the router it still doesn't it still take minutes before it connects. When it finally connect it will disconnect within 10 minutes.

    Don't waste your money. You can only view it from a phone operating system and only for 15 minutes at a time. You have to constantly/continually keep clicking on it to keep it monitoring. Bad, bad, bad!

      Thank you for your review. The Kasa Smart 2K HD Pan Tilt camera is designed for use with the Kasa app, which supports Android (5.0 or later) and iOS (10.0 or later) smartphones. Once setup, you can also opt to integrate it with supported services such as Alexa or Google Assistant, and stream the live feed to compatible devices such as Fire TV, Echo Show, and Chromecast.

      Please note that as long as you are on the same Wi-Fi network as the camera, the live stream should not time out (unless your smartphone is connected to a VPN).     I am absolutely impressed with this panning camera it would be awesome if it was wireless. I love how they did the night vision and you can still see things in some pretty good detail even though it’s monochromatic inverted.it’s still really good detail. The fact that not only can I record everything but then I can also get alerts for there’s somebody in an area or there’s noise heard amd watch it live from the app. The security for the WIFI is pretty legit as well, no unnecessary data transmitted online!

    I had to put in some work to get it to connect (partly my router's fault not the product) but now I have a security camera that is recording on a SD card that I have in house not on some cloud.
