    Works good but wish it were brighter. I have one that is bright and another that isn’t. Don’t know what the difference is. Different lamps maybe.

    I've owned 2, both have been glitchy beyond reason. Thought it was just a cheap brand, but the rgb model works on the first try as well as their Kasa smart plug. I had gotten the first one to work after weeks of troubleshooting then changed the internet password and had to deal with it all again. Now that it works, the second one I just bought is having exactly the same problems. I simply cannot troubleshoot it, and I have solved so many complex technical issues as a Best Buy employee.

Within the Kasa Smart app there's a feature that allows you to measure WiFi signal strength of your smart devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.

    Put this bulb over my kitchen sink. It works with google about 1/2 the time.

    Poor WiFi reception even in close proximity

    Constantly disconnecting from my network. Needs to be within 15feet with absolutely no walls between it and your router in order for it to stay connected. Would not factory reset after multiple attempts. I also have the older LB110 bulbs they also need to be in close proximity to the router but I’m able to reset them and they don’t disconnect that frequently. I returned them to the store and got the Tplink switch instead. No connection issues so far,

    These are rather slow. The app makes them harder to use as it’s set up strangely. They lose stars because they randomly turn on a lot.

    I was expecting the vintage light bulbs light, this was not the case and dint work as supposed with the dimer

      Thank you for your review. The KL50 smart bulb is designed to provide a vintage aesthetic with smart automation features and built-in dimming capabilities. As with any smart bulb that utilizes its own built-in dimmer, it is not recommended to be used in conjunction with an existing dimmer switch or fixture, as this may conflict with the bulb's onboard dimmer. If you must use the bulb with a dimmer fixture or switch, please first try to ensure the fixture or switch is set to the maximum dimming setting and then control the bulb's dimming via the Kasa app on your smartphone.

    These simply do not work very well

    Purchased these upon store employee recommendation. Have tried and tried to get them (three bulbs in one lamp) to work properly. Called Best Buy Geek squad for solutions since I have a membership. No luck. Very frustrating. If you buy, I hope you have a better experience.

    I purchased this and immediately to get back it’s barely wanted to connect to my Wi-Fi and it is an orange White light! The concept is really awesome it’s been a little extra and get a better light!

      Thank you for your review. The KL50 smart bulb is designed to provide a color temperature of 2700K with a 600 lumen output, which is traditionally a "warm" white. If you would prefer a "cooler" or more pure/blue white light, we recommend considering one of our tunable white smart bulbs, such as the KL120.

    Poor quality! Only worked for 6 months and went bad. Going to Best Buy for replacement. Lost connectivity with Kasa app.

    I like the TP-Link Kasa products but these have a regular filament just as you have in a regular light bulb. AND YES THEY WILL BURN OUT AFTER A YEAR OR TWO.

      An LED filament light bulb is an LED lamp which is designed to resemble a traditional incandescent light bulb with visible filaments for aesthetic and light distribution purposes, but with the high efficiency of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). It produces its light using LED filaments, which are series-connected strings of diodes that resemble in appearance the filaments of incandescent light bulbs.
