I bought 3 of the smart plug for my Christmas tree and other lights. The setup was a breeze. Once setup, it's super easy to operate. You can rename the outlets to your liking too.

Tried a couple of different brands, but they were complicated to set up and Alexa would not connect to them. This on was very easy to get up and running and there was no problem connecting to Alexa.

I have been wary due to false advertising of products that say one thing and never perform according to specs. This smart plug connected nicely and works exactly as stated. I also love how they FINALLY fixed the issue of previous plugs where plugging this one in doesn't block the other outlet! Nice!

We bought this for my daughter to put in her babies room to attach to echo. Super helpful when you have your hand full with a baby and need a lamp turned on.

Only use it once a year but it's so much easier to tell Alexa to turn on the tree than to reach around for the light cable and plug it in. First world problems...I know...it's just easier.

Use this product to control lights. Works as expected.

I started with the original TP-Link smart plug but always wished it was smaller as to not block the second outlet so when they released this version I knew I had to have it. I use several through out the year for various situations but the handiest application is during the holidays! I have both trees, a wreath and garland all on schedules and if we want to turn them on/off at different times they are compatible with Alexa too. The app is well developed and I've had no issues programming the plugs. I also have a couple of Wemo smart plugs and while they are also a good product, I've had more issues with those losing connection and or not responding to my commands than the TP-Link products.

I bought this to try with my new Amazon Alexa. I LOVE IT!! I have my lamp on my nightstand hooked into it and no more moving to turn it off at night. Simply say Alexa turn the light off and boom.... it’s off!!

I have 2 of these plugs and set my lamps to go on and off at different times. I have give 2 of these as a gift...to teens who can set their lamps or tv to come on when they want. It's a great idea!

It came in a package with my Echo Dot. Just started using it while on vacation and like how it works with my Ring and Alexa systems. A simple product with multiple applications.

This smart outlet is fantastic! I used it for our Christmas tree and it was fun. I would just tell Google to turn off/on our Christmas lights and it made it easy. I now have it plugged into a lamp.

This is a very nifty device for controlling Christmas tree lights, plug-in room lamps, etc. It was very easy to set up with the Kasa app, and the app interface is well designed and easy to use. The app allows you to set up a time schedule to turn on/off lights, including the ability to control them based on the time of sunset/sunrise as well, which is nice if you want to have a light turn on when it starts to get dark, for example. Another good feature in the app is the ability to take a picture of your lamp, etc. to represent the device being controlled in the app, instead of using the generic icons that are also available in the app.

I use these with lamps and scent diffusers as well as the Christmas tree - I just say turn tree on and there it is. Just as easy to use the app and I’m greeted with pleasant scents or lights when I get home!

These little plugs are so easy to set up and customize. I have three of them. Living room, bedroom, and fish tank light. Auto timer is nice to come home with light on. Ready to sleep Alexa turn off the light :)

This plug in is great. Easy to setup with your phone so you can program on and off items. I have not tried to setup a schedule. I use it for the same time on and off everyday. I plan on buying more.
