They would constantly lose WiFi connection. The Kasa TO-Link work perfectly. If you need WiFi switches, these are the ones to buy. Stay away from WeMo.

Great way to begin your smart home experience

I paired it with a Google home mini to have the best voice control. It turns any old "dumb" appliance/lamp/tv into a device you can control over an app, smart hub, or smart speaker.

The plug is smarter than him and will shut off easier than having to reach behind the dresser to find the cord that the switch is on.
