Sadly I was not able to get 2 of them to work at all and had to return them. The factory reset in the instructions does not actually work. These would re-connect to my wifi no matter how many times I tried to reset them. The app would claim they already existed when they did not. Or it would appear in 1 app but not the other. (It would appear in Apple Home, but not in TP Kasa. And only TP Kasa can see power usage.) Sometimes it would appear in Amazon's smart app, but that also could not see power usage on these plugs. You get what you pay for. I say they charge 1/2 the price of other smart plugs due to cruddy code and poor QA. The other 2 I got working are great, but considering the other issues I will probably return all of them and pick another brand.

Totally worth it. Good value and easy programming with your phone. Also have the Kasa smart dimmers.

Super easy to setup, cool sunrize/sunset fearure takes the guess work out of the light on and off. I was suprised how quickly the outlet responds from the app as well.. its instantaneous, which is great.

Primarily for Christmas decorations and few year round automations in the house. We love these things. This HomeKit version does seem like it was much more difficult to get setup in the Kasa app. I don’t use HomeKit and it seemed to be interfering with getting these two to work in my app. One new feature that this version has is that the app shows power usage for these. My older ones just show time used. These were on sale and we had a few new decorations this year so I renamed some of my older ones as Christmas and kept these newer ones for the year round usage.
