I have used many smart outlets and they all seem to lose connection often then stop working. I have had 1 of these for years now and have had no failures. Now I have about 5 of them running my holiday lights. Under caninet lights and my 3d printer. I can set schedules. I can turn them on and off from anywhereI I have internet connection with my phone. So pretty much anywhere. I tell everyone about these.

Pretty solid value, especially if you’re looking at starting or expanding your Apple HomeKit home. It’s pretty easy to set up, and the response time is quick.

Work great. Went with this model for energy monitoring, and already have some others. Have a couple power monitoring smart plugs on space heaters to see how often they are on and can turn off if we are gone for the weekend or such. Have two on kids tv, kills power to them not night and turns back on next day. Lower argument over wanting to stay up to watch TV and not able to turn back on. I'm using power monitoring ones because of power tacking of course and works with my sense power monitor. FYI with power lose they return to the same state.

The plugs work great. My only issue is that you have to download the Kasa app to first connect it to your smart device (google, alexa, siri)...

I like how it has a timer but sometimes the connectivity isn’t the best. Sometimes I have trouble connecting.

The smart plug is one of the easiest smart devices to connect. Download the app, plug it in, press the physical button on the side, connect the plug and app to your Wi-Fi and you’re set. The app can control whatever you plugged into. You can set a schedule so it turns whatever you have plugged in on and off. I wish smart plugs had built in power surge protection but oh well. Great price. Would definitely recommend.

I wanted a smartplug which can monitor energy usage and can be controlled from alexa or via mobile phone, this solved it

Great price for the functionality it offers. The only smart plug that has energy monitoring, homekit support, and is affordable. TP-Link smart devices seem like the only way to go.

Very reliable and easy to use once set up. Ran into a small snag with setup, but a quick reset of my Google Home app helped solve it.

Very easy to set up. Works very well placing lamps, etc. on a timer. Especially effective when away from the house. Can easily turn lights, etc. on and off remotely.

The setup was very easy. It working with Apple HomeKit made it very seemingly. Responds fast as well

Best deal you can get on a wifi-controlled smart plug. They are always super cheap and they work really well.

This is the fifth smart plug I've purchased from Kasa. Just love how convenient they are and how well they integrate with Apple Home. Only downside is set up. For some reason Kasa placed the QR code necessary for the final step of set up on the bottom of the device. As such, there is no way to scan it without unplugging from the wall outlet which then disconnects from Wifi. Rookie move.

I love these. I have so many items on a scheduled timer with these, as well as direct control anytime I need to. They were perfect with Christmas Decorations all turning off and on at the same time. If the power goes out, they automatically store current time and scheduled times. Older timers needed to be reset to the proper time after a power loss. If you are lazy like me, you will love these. (Wi-fi is required)

Good product, easy to setup, the price is very fair and I would buy again.

Ive heard of people being able to remotely control various appliances, lights and whatnot because they have a smart home but never actually delved into what products were out there to facilitate this. My first foray into creating a smart home for myself was installing a smart thermostat then a reguar google-controlled wifi plug. Boy was i hooked after that! The peace of mind and simplicity they added to my life was immeasurable even though i am an iPhone user. A couple smart products later and i discovered apples homekit then automation and from then on I understood the benefit of having a smart home and share the impact its had on my life with others when i can. To sum up my little anecdote, I wholeheartedly recommend these wifi plugs (especially to apple users with a homepod or apple tv) because they’re extremely compact, easy to set up and use and their ability to integrate into homekit makes it possible to automate the basic functions we do each day to elevate the way in which we live our lives.

I really like that I can use this to put my electronics on a schedule, or control them remotely. I also like that it tells me how much energy my electronics are consuming. Conserving energy is the reason why I purchased smart plugs to begin with so being able to see exactly how much energy is being used is very helpful. I’ve only had them for a couple weeks so I will see how they hold up.
