I have a few of these around my house and they work great, eapecially with homekit. I was under the impression that this was a new item in box, and the box and tape had clearly been opened up. the plug fell out of the box upon opening. not a big deal, but only 4 stars out of 5 for selling me an open item and not indicating it was.

This product is so easy to use! It connects to my google home and the routines are perfect.

Love the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini with HomeKit. Purchased four for holiday lights and they worked amazing. Easy setup and works with HomeKit and the Kasa app. I found that these worked better than the Kasa Wifi stand alone plugs. Once I set the turn on and off times, the plug did its job. Reliable and clean looking. High recommend!

Tricky to get setup on Wi-Fi. Was going to return but finally got it setup on on my network. Has been rock solid since.

First off what a great product simply links do exactly what it says and your link to Google home so easily such a pleasure to be able to turn stuff on and off and my mom and dad now know how to use it and they're in their '80s And can I say ordering it through Best buy was so simple and delivered on the same day wow that service

My new KASA Plug is all I needed and expected. The setup instructions were very easy to read and beneficial to me. I've only had the device up and running for the last 2 weeks. So far it does all I want; to auto turn On/Off a room lamp on nightly schedule that I was easily able to set up and now control. In addition, I can easily turn the same lamp on/off, as a one-off event thru the App on my phone while, we are out of the house.

I use it to set up my side lamp in my bedroom to work with voice command. The app for this plug also allows you to set up a schedule to mimic like someone’s home if you’re away on vacation. Great deterrent to thieves.

Good price for a really good device! Works like it should

I like to connect all my IoT devices to the 2.4Ghz guest network as an additional layer of security; however, this smart plug couldn't connect to it. After hours of fruitless attempts, I used the regular network 2.4Ghz that did the trick. The main difference between the two networks is that the guest network has "WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]" authentication; the regular network is set only for "WPA2-PSK [AES]" authentication. I am not sure if that was the root cause of the problem, but I am not factory resetting the smart plug again to find out! Another problem is the dependency on an Apple Homekit to configure the plug to the internet; I wish this would follow the same setup method that all other Kasa devices have, which is pretty straightforward via the Kasa app. Once connected, the device works perfectly fine. It's responsive to commands via the Kasa app and Alexa. The energy monitoring does a decent job of telling how much electricity the connected device is pulling. I wish that the app had a reset-stats command for energy use, as I find myself plugging different devices into this smart-plug every so often to analyze electricity consumption.

Have about eight of these Smart Plugs now and have had no issues. They easily connect to the Apple Home app and once connected always show back up even when I move them from room to room. Have been great for all of our holiday lights and the on/off button on the side is nice for my kids who do not have access to my Home account.

I used these switches to control light my wife wanted above a cabinet. There was no switch there and after manually unplugging and re plugging in a got these. I now have them scheduled and i can use voice commands though Alexa. Saved me time and set up was quick! Home automation, got to love these conveniences .

Once in while it'll lose connection but unplugging and plugging it back in fixes it. It was easy enough to set up and extremely convenient when you for get to turn off the light somewhere across the houses. Got while on sale.

I’ve purchased 3 of these so far and also purchased one for outdoors. Right now I have my Christmas tree and lights on these. Love that I can schedule on and off when not at home. I even can control them from my iwatch.
