No more difficult than a typical switch. Functions as I would expect so as long as it lasts I feel it's a good product

Easy to install and use

However, once in a while alexa claims it cannot connect to the switch. I then have to use the kasa app from my phone and it starts working again.

Great Dimmer!

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost all the lights in my house are now using Kasa (bulbs, switches, plugs, and now the dimmer). We like the look, ease of use and installation, and is compatible with Alexa. The only difference between the dimmer and the other Kasa(s) we have is that the dimmer seems to have a roughly one-second lack when turning it on/off. I think it might be cause of the dimming function. But that doesn't really bother me though.

Just say the phrase and boom lights on or off. Go get one you wont be disappointed. Easy to install neutral wire needed. 5 min install for wiring. 5 min install to connect it to your wifi. 1 min to down load tp link software. 1 min to name your light. I have 2 switches named bar light and kitchen light. If you have 12 min of time your all set. It's a set it and forget it install.
