They work well. Make sure to have a wifi set app at home. I used them and confirmed works from out of state at least. Not sure bout over seas yet. Easy set up. I did not install myself. Better to have switches than to have many smart bulbs.

This was my first foray into installing smart dimmer that I can control through the app, set schedules, dimming options etc. Was particularly excited since I was going to use it to replace my existing switch that controlled front porch and garage outdoor lights. Installation was a breeze, setting up through the app even easier, but the device would not recognize and operate (switch on / off) according to the schedule set. First time I tried, it would not even set the schedule - due to apparently time zone difference. After resetting, restarting, set it up again - was able to set schedule but it would not go on or off at the schedule time that was set. Tried several permutations and combinations - no luck. So now I just use it like a normal dimmer operating manually or through the app without automatic operation through the schedule. Might as well return it!

This is my second purchase of this Kasa switch. I’ve had the first one in use for years and it’s performed flawlessly. Simple to setup and use, too.

This smart switch is as advertised and a great addition to a home. Works with Google, Alexa, and as a stand-alone dimmer switch. The only reason I give it a 4/5 stars is because the switch has a slight squeak when you click it and I’m scared to spray any lubricant in it. Will still buy more though; great switch. *Read up on electricals if you aren’t comfortable installing.

I purchased the Wemo light switch first and had non stop issues, but when I purchased the TP link switch I have been issue free. Much better made and way. More reliable.

Easy to install and works great. You can turn on the lights manually or using voice Alexa voice command or even program to turn or and off on schedule time and day. Nice modern design look. Very happy with the dimmer switch.

I try to keep within the same ecosystems with IOT devices and TP link has been a great company for budget devices that work well. Keep in mind some bulbs hum when dimmed. check your bulbs if to make sure they are not known for this.

This smart switch is very easy to install and linked with my Google Home Automation. It also fits in perfectly with my other decor switches. I use this for my outdoor lights to keep them on a schedule.

TP-Link’s Kasa series is a very reliable and affordable approach to the smart home lifestyle. The Kasa light switch is no different, just make sure you have the white “neutral wire,” otherwise you’re out of luck. (Not the ground wire)

I have installed many smart dimmers and switches at home already. Some are 3 way. Half of them are z-wave and others wifi. Since I have 5-6 apps for different home automation devices already, I really don't want to try a new brand and add another app. As I have a bunch of Kasa devices that work pretty well, so I pick up this dimmer for the bath room. The hardware installation is pretty standard, but the device setup appears to be a lot easier than other brands. The first time wifi connection was very smooth and the dimmer range calibration was very easy too. It is up and running within a couple minutes after putting the cover plate on. So I purchased one more for another bathroom.

Kasa is one of the few lines of smart products that I will buy now. Their app is excellent and has all of the features you would expect. The products are well built and their integrations with Google Assistant, Alexa, and SmartThings is quite good. No complaints at all. I bought 4 plugs and a dimmer switch and they are all working perfectly. The dimmer even has a calibration feature I've never had before...most LEDs start flickering at a certain level of brightness. The Kasa app let's you limit the lowest brightness setting to avoid this issue! I would recommend the HS220 dimmer and the HS105 smart plugs if you're looking to integrate with SmartThings. The HS103s I had didn't work, and I couldn't have expected them to since they weren't listed in SmartThings as compatible.

this is my first smart switch. Got it linked to my smart home assistant and it is amazing, easy to setup and use. I may have only touched the dimmer a hand full of times as its easies to use the voice commands.

Light switch is bulky but works great. Would recommend!

I’ve had this switch for a few months now. Installation was easy and the Kasa app is user friendly with the ability to schedule or shut off the switch from any room in the house. I will definitely purchase more.

I originally purchased a Wemo switch and it was so bad that I looked at another brand that was Alexa and Google compatible. Now I have 4 of the TP link switches. Works great and app is great. Highly recommended.

Very happy with this switch. It was very easy to install, and the app is very user friendly and easy to use. I replaced a much more expensive wemo switch with this one and this one is far better

I love being able to control the lights in my house when I'm away from home! In addition, the dimmer function works great and the light switch integrates well with google home.

Fairly straight forward to install as long as you have and can identify your neutral wire. I installed next to one I purchased a year ago and noticed that the lighted indicator was brighter on the new one. Works great with Alexa for controlling my lights.

Bought this switch to control a new dimmable ceiling light from IKEA. It works perfectlt and functions flawlessly with Google Home.
