Laptop's internet connection often sluggish, sometimes dropped. Router was only about 10 yards away, but perhaps the signal was impeded by the 2 walls and one floor between? Followed the simple instructions to install this TP-Link N300 Range Extender half way between. Presto! Immediate improvement. Very very cost-effective improvement! NOTE: intalling the Extender on a direct line of sight with laptop optimized the results; other locations I tried were not as effective.

Very pleased with this. My daughter's room was definitely a dead spot with out internet this has helped greatly for such a reasonable price.

This thing is junk I've never had something more useless in my entire life. I bought this on the assumption that it would extend my Wi-Fi and it did just that the first 5 minutes then I started having all kinds of WiFi problems I indeed verified that it was a good spot for the extender. Followed all the steps to the T and it would keep disconnecting over and over it said it was in a perfect spot so I kind of got really frustrated what really made me matter was when I unplugged it and my Wi-Fi started working perfectly the thing is useless don't buy this what good is a Wi-Fi extender and extra Wi-Fi if it doesn't work sure it extends your Wi-Fi but what good is it if you can't use it.

The reason I bought this router is that my main router is downstairs and I work upstairs. Sometimes I used have problems with zoom meetings and thought if I have WiFi booster it may help. However, it’s not helping, I still have problems with zoom. I now connect to main router and it’s much better than this extension. Maybe my usecase is different , it may actually be more useful for rooms where signal is nil and want some coverage there. In my case I was looking for boosting the signal.

The internet though the extender is not as good as when connected directly to the router, but it is good enough to allow us to stream shows and movies where the router signal was too weak before.

The best part about this device is how easy it is to install and extend your current WiFi network. I have always had good luck with TP-Link equipment.

Our router is downstairs, and we didn't have a great spot to install this extender, but we put it in an outlet that was at least somewhat closer. Installation took about ten minutes, because we're not very computer-savvy. It solved the problems with streaming, which had been blanking out and dipping in function about 30% of the time. I bought this during the COVID-19 period, and I have to say I appreciate Best Buy's parking lot pickup. Well done, folks!

This worked perfect for my cameras outside until I added a couple more camera untis. Then it stopped working. Im guessing too much bandwidth. Still use it but in another area of the home. Works great.

Works great so far. The Ethernet port is a nice touch.

Internet doesn't drop anymore, but speed is slower.

Easy to hook-up, works beautifully... Have TV at the other end of the house, always was loading constantly, after installing this extender TV runs perfectly.

I thought it would help making my internet faster but it only made it a little faster
