You can set this up but other items connected to the extender do not recognize the internet. This has been an ongoing issue that I have yet to complete. My belief is that this item would look transparent and I would be able to access exerything I could in the past.

I bought the range extenders hoping for better WiFi, while it has improved it some it’s not as good as expected. It may perform better in a smaller home.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in WiFi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's WiFi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.

Bought due to shift to working from home and home office was upstairs while the router/modem was downstairs. Never noticed a positive difference. Stopped using after a while.
