I even used the site mapping tool to figure out the best location for the extender. My devices connected fine, but the internet would periodically drop out. I do not experience the internet drop out issue when I use just my router.

When using multiple WiFi sources within a network environment - such as a router combined with an extender - you may come across times where your wireless devices will temporarily drop connection when switching from one WiFi source to the other, commonly called wireless roaming. I got this for the price. There is no difference in my connection. We even had the ISP come out and "upgrade" our service and I continue to have a slow wifi connection. Its making it really hard for me to do my job.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in WiFi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's WiFi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
