would not recommend

If you're experiencing unusual network activity after installing the extender, we recommend ensuring that the RE LED is solid, and at least 3 to 4 Signal Strength LEDs are illuminated. This will ensure the extender is located in an ideal position in your home.

Can't make it work!!

Thank you for your review. Please bear in mind WiFi extenders utilize half-duplex transmission. As a result, throughput when connecting to the extender may be reduced when compared to the router. This is an industry standard for WiFi extenders and is not exclusive to TP-Link.

Not very reliable

Poor signal strength and not useful

Extender strength is not even half ( it is placed literally next to wifi router) . Obviously performance became further poor when I placed it away from router . White in Remote room - I received better signal using router directly vs this extender when place half way to the room . I will return this.

Not that great

VERY Unsatisifed with This Product

If you're experiencing difficulty connecting the extender to your router, we recommend setting up the device in the same room as your router, then relocating it after setup is complete. We also suggest re-verifying your router's WiFi password during setup, or if using the WPS setup method, ensuring the WPS process is performed in the correct order. The extender's indicator LEDs will help you determine which position in your home is ideal.
We also recommend considering our intuitive TP-Link Tether app, which allows you to conveniently set up and manage the extender from your smartphone.

I was so hopeful

I put the extended right in the front ( which is no more than 6 feet from the router) and it did not pick it up at all. Tried so many times: so disappointed
