The wifi router performed way better compared to this product when it came to speed and connectivity even with low signals.

Thank you for your review. Please bear in mind WiFi extenders utilize half-duplex transmission. As a result, throughput when connecting to the extender may be reduced when compared to the router. This is an industry standard for WiFi extenders and is not exclusive to TP-Link.

Simple and effective

I searched this item and read a lot of reviews, and decided to give it a try. The connection is pretty easy. Just plug it in and press a button on my ASUS router. It's done and awesome. The LED light indicates that the signal is pretty good. I could watch movies in my bedroom now.

Both work very well, but I like this one slightly better because it isn’t as big and doesn’t have large antennas on it. It has a sleek look and the blue lights look cool IMO. Very easy to setup! It shows you the strength of the signal based upon the number of blue lights. Pairs nicely with any router and covers my whole house plus 30 feet to the street. Thumbs up!

It went from less than 0.5mbps to above 20mbps, just as the wired computer does. My son is so happy with it. Moreover, it is really easy to setup. Just plug in , paired and it works well with my Motorola router.
