      Thank you for your review. Please bear in mind WiFi extenders utilize half-duplex transmission. As a result, throughput when connecting to the extender may be reduced when compared to the router. This is an industry standard for WiFi extenders and is not exclusive to TP-Link.

    I have a TP-Link Archer C8 router that will transmit the Wi-Fi signal to my far bedroom but the speed is miserable. Constant buffering on Netflix, slow page loading from my phone, etc. I had some rewards certificates expiring soon so I decided to give this a shot to see if it would increase the speeds and...WOW. This took my speeds from ~22 Mbps to over 65 Mbps and took about 2 minutes to setup via WPS. I was very skeptical of this product since it was only $20 but figured it was worth a shot. Although I've only had it for a day now it's blown all my expectations away. I'll update this review if any problems ever arise but as of now it's working better than anticipated and I couldn't recommend it more!

    The N300 did exactly what it said it would do

    My router had to be placed in one corner of my house. The opposite corner was a dead wifi spot, as was my deck. Rather than a messy, expensive relocation of the router, I thought I'd try an inexpensive solution. The N300 was the lowest cost extender with good ratings, so I ordered one from Best Buy. (It was not available at the retail outlet.) It took a few minutes to set it up. I placed the device in an electrical outlet about halfway between the router and the dead corner. Now I have a fairly strong signal where there was none. FYI - the distance from the router to the N300 is about 25' as is the increased distance of the expanded range (total of 50'). The device is not line-of-sight from the router but it IS within sight of the formerly dead corner. If you have a situation like this, I recommend you give this device a try. For just over $20, it's one of the most cost-effective electronic gizmos ever. (I just installed it last night, so this is only an initial quality review.)

    My router is on the other side of my house. I have not wanted to go to the attic and move my cable line to the middle of the house so I bought this repeater. I pulled it out of the box and followed the quick setup. Had it running in 5 minutes. Signal strength is great across the house now.
