Was very easy to set up, as it included a QR code to download an app and set up the device, it allowed me to pick and choose a different username and password than my original WiFi network and has not failed me. The WiFi is as fast and as strong as my original WiFi and if not just a tad bit slower deplending on how many devices are on it.

Got it on sale but worth the money. Hasn't dropped a signal yet and have had it for over a month now. Works like a dream.

The range extender works great in our 2K sq. ft home. We definitely can tell the deference with all the devices.

Seems to work as advertised-not boosting the connection level of my standby generator, the reason for purchase. Access for other wifi devices is exceptional and covers all other dead areas in my house. Directions could be a little larger and a little more clear.

I was told by two different employees (one, when I ordered the unit and the other, when I picked it up) that all I had to do was plug it into the power outlet. In reading the instructions - after that simplistic advice proved false - I became aware of the complexity involved. Either both employees had not been given appropriate training or they just didn't want to be bothered. Either way, Best Buy has some employee training to do. Also, of interest in the customer support area, I note that there is no way to reach the customer support dept online or via mail - is that to discourage customers from reporting problems similar to the one I had?

This extender did what it was meant to do and got the signal to an area of our house that was not being covered.

I'm very satisfied with this product. It has worked just like I hoped it would and I couldn't be more please with the outcome. It was pretty simple to set up and placed into service, and if needed, it can be moved without having to start the start-up procedure all over again.

Previous extender was 5+ yrs old and signal strength at most remote device was “fair”. Followed simple instructions to set up and just minutes out of the box was plugged in and working. Signal strength went up to “excellent” and has been rock steady since connected. Highly recommended!!!
