These headphones are color matched to the PS5, but I can't help but think R2D2 when I see them. the quality of the construction is quite nice and these are simple but sturdy and decently made. Wired with a 3.5mm jack for use with a controller, and no battery to charge OR go dead. the boom mic is sufficiently sensitive with a quality boom and swivel / flip mechanism that gets it out of the way when not in use, but also mutes the microphone, which I like. This headset is considered glasses friendly and the memory foam ear cups are accommodating of the arms of your spectacles. The attached cord is 4ft long which is appropriate for connection to a PS5 controller. A simple scroll wheel for volume control is also located on the left ear cup next to the cable connection for easy location. Overall these are comfortable and built well for wearing for longer sessions. Sound quality is decent with the 50mm drivers and the microphone is a good quality for voice use in gaming sessions. I would recommend these as a quality no frills addition for anyone's PS5.

    Amazing Headset for Any Gamer

The Atlas 200 is a sharp looking headset that has come in handy lately. They won't out perform my wireless headset but they are a great alternative for when my primary headset runs out of battery. The design is great and seems to me an homage to the first PlayStation colorway. The light grey and the royal blue are stylish but comfortable as well. The head band has a net type of material that helps make it comfortable for long time wear. The cushions are made to feel like super soft pillows on your ears. The audio quality is great, and the 3D features are on point and really effective. In my first person shooter game I can hear where the steps are coming from. The chat and audio feature is great as well, there's no difference for me between my wireless and wired headset. You can also easily flip the mic up to mute yourself. I did try my headset on a portable gaming console and the audio wasn't as good. So stick to the PlayStation for sure. I would suggest this for a new person to gaming or a headset that you want that you do not need to charge. It is comparable to other top notch headsets and will for sure be popular this Christmas!

First Impressions When I first unboxed the Turtle Beach Atlas 200, I liked how lightweight it felt. It has a mostly plastic build with a soft headband and memory-foam style ear cushions. The headset doesn’t feel cheap, but it’s clearly designed to be more functional than flashy. The detachable mic and the simple 3.5 mm connection make it easy to use across PlayStation, PC, or even mobile devices that support wired audio. Sound Quality For stereo sound, the Atlas 200 actually sounds pretty good. Dialogue and in-game effects come through clearly, and directional audio cues are easy to pick out, especially in FPS games. It’s not overly bass-heavy, so explosions and low-end sounds don’t hit with as much depth as higher-end headsets, but the mids and highs are balanced well for the price. Music playback is fine too — nothing spectacular, but clean and clear enough for casual listening. Overall, I’d say it delivers decent stereo performance for gaming and general use. Comfort & Fit Here’s where things get a little mixed. The ear cups don’t fully surround your ears — instead, they rest on parts of them. At first, this doesn’t feel too bad, but after about 30 minutes, I noticed some soreness around the edges of my ears. The foam padding is soft, but the pressure adds up over time. If you wear glasses, the headset does an okay job at reducing frame pressure, but it doesn’t completely eliminate discomfort during longer gaming sessions. Personally, I wouldn’t call these “all-day” comfortable. Short matches or quick sessions? Totally fine. Extended gaming? You’ll probably need breaks. Microphone & Controls The flip-to-mute mic is convenient and clear enough for in-game chat or Discord. It’s not studio quality, but it does the job for voice comms without much background noise pickup. The volume dial on the left ear cup is easy to reach, and there aren’t a ton of buttons to fumble with mid-game — simple and straightforward. Everyday Use The headset’s lightweight build makes it easy to wear and toss around, and the wired connection means no charging or latency issues. Sound isolation is average — you’ll still hear some ambient noise, but it’s enough to stay immersed in your game or movie. The main drawback is comfort over time. I found myself adjusting the ear cups often to relieve the pressure, which became distracting during longer gaming sessions. Pros • Good stereo sound for the price • Lightweight and easy to use • Clear mic for in-game chat • Plug-and-play compatibility with PlayStation and other 3.5 mm devices Cons • Ear cups rest on your ears instead of around them • Ear soreness after about 30 minutes of wear • Limited bass response • Not ideal for long gaming sessions Conclusion The Turtle Beach Atlas 200 delivers decent sound for a wired stereo headset, especially for its price range. It’s clear, balanced, and perfectly fine for everyday gaming or chatting. However, comfort is the weak spot — since the ear cups press against your ears, I started feeling sore after roughly half an hour. If you’re a casual gamer who plays in shorter bursts, this headset will serve you well. But if you tend to game for hours at a time, you might want to look for something with deeper, fully over-ear cushions for better long-term comfort.

Overall - The Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset worked well – not a lot of bells and whistles with this basic headset. Bottom line up front – it has really good sound quality, was comfortable to wear (did take a bit of adjustment), and the mic worked well – no complaints from folks on the other end. Setup - As far as set up for use, not much to say – plug it in and it works, as far as fit, that took a bit of adjustment – nothing major, but just several iterations to get it right. Audio Performance - Audio quality was really good – not hi-fidelity level, but I was pleasantly surprised with the clean and immersive sound for the headset – from footsteps to explosions, it works really well. Microphone performance - This seems to work really well – other I have tried folks say it muted or sounds like I’ in a can, however not with this one – they commented that it was clear and not a lot of background noise – in this price range that’s a real plus. Just of note – one nice feature is that the mic is flexible, and you can rotate it out of the way when not in use. Comfort - Comfort is top notch – after getting the strap and everything adjusted, it’s one of the more comfortable headsets I’ve tried – of course, being wired, it’s fairly light and head headband and ear cushion were very comfortable. No issues, wear it for several hours straight Compatibility - While it says it’s for PS5 – which I tested it on – it also worked with anything else with the 3.5 mm jack – I used it directly connected to my PC and an audio device with no issues. Bottomline - The Turtle Beach Atlas 2000 works really well – good sound quality, great functioning mic, and really comfortable. The only drawback is that it’s wired – I never had any limitations with the wire, but it is there and could be in the way. Regardless, this is a top-notch headset in this price range

Sometimes in life the most basic barebones simple things can be great. This is the case with this headset from turtle beach the atlas air 200 are a very simple barebones headset, and guess what they are great. Let me start with the sound it’s very pleasant sounding headset that bring a you a lot of excitement when playing games. The bass is a little heavy especially for fps it can sometimes be a little tough when lots of explosions are going off but being able to tell where sounds are coming from is pretty easy ok this headset. My only complaint is when you put the volume up the headset can cause a little fatigue especially in the high end. But adjusting the volume with the knob the headset is very easy. The headset is extremely comfortable and light, if your someone that especially doesn’t like how heavy some of the wireless headset can feel than this headset is for you incredibly light and just feels like it floats on your head. The mic is pretty good, used it with some friends and no one had any issues hearing me, it’s not broadcast quality but it will get the job done without conplaints. Overall this headset is great package the value proposition on this headset is amazing especially if your looking for something to just plug in and play with.

It's actually nice to have a set of headphones that are not Bluetooth. That way you don't have to worry about the battery going out all the time. You don't have to worry about range, or charging. You simply just plug these into your PS5 controller and you're good to go for as long as the battery lasts in your controller or if you're using a wired controller, you can play forever, I guess. The sound quality is absolutely fine that's what I will say. I'm sure you don't expect stellar sound when you buy these, but what you do end up getting is very serviceable and usable sound. Everyone seems to be okay with me talking on the mic, they can hear me just fine. The build quality on these is again acceptable. They're gonna last you well into the ownership lifetime of your Playstation 5. I like the gray and blue colorway and Turtle Beach seems to be moving up in the world when it comes to peripherals for your computer and game systems. I really like the direction this company is heading and i'm looking forward to seeing where they go next.

I have been using the Atlas 200 for a few weeks now and I am really impressed. The sound is full and detailed with clear highs and strong bass that makes games feel more alive. Directional audio is great too. I can easily tell where sounds are coming from. The headset feels light and comfortable even after hours of use. The memory foam cushions do not get too warm and the floating headband adjusts nicely without squeezing. Build quality feels solid and the matte finish looks clean and durable. The flip to mute mic is simple but works perfectly. Voice pickup is clear and it mutes instantly when flipped up. Plugging straight into the controller makes setup effortless. No software or charging needed. The only gripe I have is the the headphone jack is a little here and there when playing. First off I'm used to wireless headphones almost exclusively since I've been gaming I can't remember the last time I used a wired one so they def have improved leaps and bounds but every now and again it will randomly disconnect. It has happened so much that i would deduct a star from it but hopefully it doesn't get worse. This might be a normal thing for wired headphones so maybe Im nit picking at this point.

TL;DR: SETUP: It’s super easy. Just plug the Atlas 200 Wired Over-the-Ear Headset into any 3.5mm jack or into your PS4 or PS5 controller. There isn’t any app or software needed. USE: Put them on, adjust the volume with the inline volume wheel, flip the mic up to mute and lower to unmute. USABILITY: Very comfortable and very good sound, especially from a budget headset. OVERALL: They don’t have the premium features, but do feel and sound premium. The sound and comfort are excellent. REVIEW: I was kind of expecting a pretty basic experience, but they are definitely an experience. They are comfortable, the audio is very good when chatting and immersive when needed. They don’t offer a lot of extras, but they don’t need to, as they just work and work well…actually much better than I expected. I was thinking they would sound hollow and tinny. They give a good immersive experience and are comfortable. I’ve worn them for a couple of hours at a time and my head doesn’t hurt. I really like them and have already recommended them to some friends, too. They are definitely a good buy.

Well if you need a new headset and your a PlayStation gamer, you might to give these a try. Turtle Beach made these with comfort in mind. Even with my big head these felt good. Almost forgot I had them on after a while. Clamping pressure is adequate for headphones that are made for prolonged use. I don't know what voodoo they used on the mic but it is pretty decent. No one complained like they usually do when I decide to chat in game. It took a minute for the color scheme to not be a issue. I was told the white and blue would grow on me and they did. Now I know exactly which pair I am using when I use my PS4, I know, I know... PS5 is the new new. I'll get one soon. Now the sound is very good with these. No one is sneaking up on me with these on. EQ setting is a must for those that have a slight bass problem. Fairly clean across the board with almost all music genres so you won't be disappointed with these. I really appreciate the wire seeming as though some folks are sensitive to Bluetooth headsets. Would I recommend these to someone, yes I would. Grab a set if you are looking to upgrade.

The holidays are coming and it's time to start shopping. If you have a gamer in your home (big or small), then you can never go wrong with some kind of gaming accessory to compliment their game play. One of the best accessories for a gaming enthusiast is a gaming headset. Almost everyone is doing some online gaming. The Turtle Beach - Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset is a great affordable gaming headset. I know...everyone wants wireless, but the Turtle Beach - Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset has just the perfect length cord to allow you play comfortably. As for their comfort, this headset feels great around my ears. The ear cushions are soft and comfortable. I've had no issues gaming for hours with the Turtle Beach headset on. Another important thing to point out is that these don't make my head sweat like other cheaper alternatives. As for the audio and mic quality, these are great for the price. The audio comes out clear and I have had no one complaint about my mic. The Turtle Beach - Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset definitely makes a great Christmas gift. I would definitely recommend these.

First of all the package arrived in great condition. Even if the package were to be damaged, I suspect that these headphones would survive due to the extensive protections built right into the packaging. It was clear what these were capable of based on the marketing wrapped around and the way that things were presented once the box was open. These were easy to use and were just plug-in. Play sound quality is good because they are over the year. There is some amount of Outside sound reduction. Which improved gameplay the microphone appeared to work really well as others could hear me clearly even with background noises the comfort is where these really shine though I can wear these for 46 or even eight hours at a time with no problems whatsoever or strained. I would encourage anyone looking for a really decent set of headphones or a microphone for their PlayStation to look at these and buy them as you really can’t go wrong with them if you were looking to upgrade your pair of headphones look no further as these are really favorable over in ear options.

The Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset for PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4 are really quite satisfactory headphones! I tend to use wireless headphones for the most part, but when I saw these, and how lightweight they were, I decided to give them a try. And something I didn't know until I had these, I can stick the headset plug directly into the controller for my PS5 - so basically, they are wireless. I thought I was going to be tethered to my PS5 console, but I am only tethered to my controller. Wonderful! Setup is basically non-existent - plug them in. That's all I did - I didn't have to change any settings on my PS5. The sound automatically came out of the headphones. I do have to say, the sound is not fantastic, but the sound is good. When playing, I can hear voices, footsteps, etc. quite clearly. I also used them on my PC to listen to music (as I am while writing this review). Again, not fantastic but good. These, of course, are not audiophile headphones, but for the price, they are more than capable. The only problem I have with these is that when I move around, which I tend to do when gaming, sometimes the headset plug moves around within the controller - it tends to jiggle sometimes. That causes a sound interruption or a staticky sound which is not a good thing. I always make certain the plug is in all the way, but this still happens. There are no settings to adjust with these, other than the volume which is done via a roller wheel on the left ear cuff. You are asked to turn up the volume on the device you are using to 100% - I am never really happy doing that, but it is the way to get the volume with these headphones. The other thing you can change, but maybe won't need to, is the tightness of the mesh band that kind of floats on your head to adjust the fit. You need to use the little velcro straps on each side. These are quite comfortable to wear. Without a heavy band sitting on my head, and just that mesh band, it is so nice - my head isn't soaking wet from perspiration. And even my ears are comfortable with these. I wear glasses and because these have memory foam ear cushions, there are no issues squeezing my glasses into my head. Overall, I would say these Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset for PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4, are lightweight, quite comfortable with good, though not great, sound. I believe that is what one would expect at this price point - so I am not knocking anything off for that. But I am knocking off two stars for the lack of a proper and constant connection. The headphones are for listening to the sound and if I can't rely on that, then I can't really rely on these headphones.

Turtle Beach Atlas200 Wired Gaming Headset (PS4/5)

So I just received my new Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Gaming Headset for PS4/PS5 about a week ago and have been putting it through its paces. Over the years I have used various Turtle Beach products and accessories for my gaming consoles as well as my desktop setups. And they have all been very solid products and served their intended purposes as expected. So when I had the chance to snag this headset for my PS5 it jumped on it quick. Unboxing Includes: * Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Headset * User Documentation Now before I get into the whole setup process, I must take a minute to admire the design, quality and color scheme Turtle Beach went with. The design and build quality is amazing. On the side of both the left and right earcuff is the Turtle Beach logo. Up above on the blue strap piece of the headset is the PlayStation (PS) logo that fans of the platform have come to know and love over the years. The top part of the headset features a mesh-like material for easy airflow during those long extended game plays. On the back of the left earcuff is one single knob and that’s the volume control. The mic is also connected to the left earcuff and although it is not detachable, you can easily mute the online game chats simply by raising the mic arm in an upright position; and flip it back down to return the game chat. Now the color scheme is this grayish-white color that has been synonymous with the PS5 and blends in very nicely. Now to get started, simply plug the wired end of the headset into the bottom of the PS5 controller and load up your favorite game. Now while I played through a good half hour of gaming, I noticed that after a little bit the earcuff started to feel a bit snug on my ears. Upon further inspection I noticed that while the earcuffs are comfortable that the opening in which your ears are supposed to sit in are a lot smaller than other headsets I’ve used in the past. This is not a definite no as far as recommendation, but you may need to either adjust your headset or break up extended gaming sessions to give your ears times to relax. The headset while comfortable may be geared towards those with smaller ears or that’s a design flaw. Sound quality was amazing and others could hear me clearly as well as I could hear them clearly. But the comfortability of the earcuffs needs some tweaking.

I have been looking for a headset for my PS5 after my wireless one stopped working, and got the opportunity to try these out, and surprisingly for a budget entry headset, I am very happy with them. My review is from a perspective from a gamer that spends about 5-7 hours per week playing mostly FIFA, Diablo and Warzone, so take that into account. What I like about the headphones: - They look excellent! The color is probably one of my favorite from all the headphones I’ve used for gaming. - The sound is decent for this price point. My last headset that broke was in the $200 range so I feel like it had a bigger advantage on FPS games where foot steps matter, but this one does the job for me. - Built quality feels sturdy and comfortable for 1-2 hours. This is what I usually play, but I am sure longer gaming sessions would not be a problem at all. - Straightforward set up. Plug and play with the PS5. What I wish was better even at this price point: - Option to hide the microphone. I don’t always use my microphone especially in FIFA and Diablo, and so I think it would be a little cleaner if it could get tucked in. - Maybe a small case or a bag would have been welcomed. 4 out of 5 stars for me!

I have a great Turtle Beach head set for my PC so I thought this would be nice for my gaming console. This set is almost perfect set with only one minor issue which I will mention later on because is not that important. The most important thing to mention is the sound quality which is outstanding like most Turtle Beach head sets. The low and high frequency sounds are crisp an clear with no distortion at high level which should not be used all the time. The earmuffs have soft sponge with smooth cloth cover. Since it is not battery or blue tooth, the only button available is the volume adjustment wheel. The wire is long enough not create twisting or tangles. It does not have any LED lights to indicate connections though it is not necessary. As for the only negative I can mention is the microphone. My friends complained of not hearing me because I sounded like I am far. Adjusting the distance to the mouth is difficult because it does not bend well and does not stay in the same position. It tends to go back to its original positions because of the material it is made of... some type of flexible plastic which I worry would break if push too far or too often. I would still consider this as a good wired Turtle Beach headset to have.

Turtle Beach used to be the go to brand for gaming headphones, but no longer. Got these headphones to use with my PS5. I'm normally not a fan of wired headphones but since these connect to the controller, it's not like you have to deal with a long cord or anything. I used these with a few different video games, Assasins Creed Shadows and Battlefield 2042. With Assasins Creed it was just like using a set of stereo headphones. No surround or immersion at all. With Battlefield at least there was some sort of surround but it just seemed like random sounds coming from different directions, not really reflecting what was happening on screen. I also tried using them for music listening. They were OK, but the sound quality wasn't great. These are just your basic run of the mill headhpones, (all mid range with not much in the way of highs or low bass). The headhpones were comfortable for the most part, even for someone who wears glasses, like myself. But as my review headline says, these are OK, not great. Can't say that I would really recommend these.

These are the first pair of wired headphones I’ve tried using with the Sony PS5. I sit almost 15 feet away from the PS5 during normal play so I kinda freaked out when I unrolled the connecting cord thinking to myself how in the world am I going to make this work!!!??? Imagine my surprise… I’ve owned this PS5 since Sony released the device and I’ve never noticed until now that the controllers have headphone jacks in them. I swore this was a Microsoft Xbox thing. Not needing a battery in the headset does lighten the weight a bit which is nice for longer gaming sessions. The hardware is solid, comfortable to wear, and easily adjustable. The headset uses velcro to adjust the strap that separates the top of your head from the headphones. The microphone is less flexible than I would prefer. I don’t like to see a microphone in my peripheral vision when I’m gaming but there was never a position I found that would achieve this. Sound quality was far better than I expected. Immersive without overwhelming with a simple to feel turn knob for adjusting the noise level. I appreciate that Turtle Beach built a solid pair of headphones with any gimmicks.

Here are my impressions: - they’re extremely comfortable. I dislike leather pads because they make my ears hot. I also dislike an heavy pad on top of my head. The cups on these are soft, silky, and breathable. Not as much as memory foam mesh, but still breathable. The head band is stretchy mesh covering an elastic strap, which is adjustable with Velcro closures. You won’t be doing any quick adjustments on these. - the color scheme is very PlayStation.. there’s even PS logos on the adjustment strap. - the cord is very short. It’s intended to be plugged into your controller, so that makes sense, just be aware you’ll need an extension if you want to plug it into anything further away. I personally like the length because I plug it into my laptop without too much wire leftover. - my windows PC recognized it right away as a headphone and headset. - the mic doesn’t come all the way down to my mouth, but my friends could hear me fine. It comes to my nose, but that’s probably because I have the head band against my cowlick, not the center of the top of my dome. - sound quality is good. It’s not great, but it’s also not a $500 set of headphones. These aren’t expensive, and I think they’re a great buy for the price!
