This is exactly what my son was looking for. He uses this as a wireless headset for gaming. He also likes the fact that he can use a cord and use it with his iPad. great sound quality.

The pairing on these headphones are easy. As soon as I turn on my Xbox, within seconds, the headset is ready to go and an on screen prompt will confirm this as well. The wireless is fairly decent and has pretty good range. It took some time to get used to the volume dial on the right side. I had to keep taking my headphones off to figure out which dial was the headphone and which one was the chat volume, but quickly got over this in about a week. The battery life is pretty decent. I don't game frequently (maybe a couple of hours at a time) and have gone days before needing to recharge it but on the times where you have all day, i can typically go 8-10 hours. I like the fact that the charge port on the headphones (which are on the left side) is the same as the xbox charge and play cable. When you plug it in, the headphone light on the sides turn red and theres an audible voice saying "Charging Battery" so you know when its charging. My biggest complaint with these headphones is the ability to charge and play. You can technically do it, however at least for me, the cable keeps falling out of the headphones. I would have expected the cable to be more secure to the device. So for me, when the battery gets low (theres an audible human voice that says "Battery Low" and keeps repeating intermittently as a reminder), it basically means I'm done gaming since i typically fame at night when everyone is sleeping. Sure, i can plug in a different set of headphones to the controller, but then you have to deal with setting the volume on the xbox or get the volume controller adapter which is the reason I bought the turtle beach headset to not have to deal with that. I have owned the headphones for 7 months and actually have to end up returning the headset because the headphones won't charge now unless you hold the cable a certain way. Hopefully this is just a problem with this unit but we will see. Overall, a pretty decent set of headphones. Hopefully, the charge problem won't happen to you. I'll post again when i get my replacement headset.

Bought this headset for our Son for his birthday. He only asked for the wired headset, but we wanted to be sure that he had the freedom to move around. They are worth the extra $!

This set of headphones are good the best I've had for the xbox one but not great they need a volume control for your own voice in the headset but besides that there wonderful. Good for the price you pay for them

these are great. they sound good, and fit comfortably for hours. and hold a good charge.

It couldn't be easier to use, plug in the USB transmitter and turn on the headset. Sound is excellent and it has separate controls for game volume and chat volume, something the Sony PS4 headset doesn't have. It is very comfortable after several hours of use and the flexible mic is an added benefit. A little pricey at full retail, I purchased mine on sale, ended up buying two of them for both my son and me.

I bought a wireless turtle beach headset for my Xbox 360 and it was pretty useful, but had a bunch of wires to plug in to the Xbox and I constantly was changing batteries. The 420X for the Xbox One is 100 times better. It uses a small device that plugs in to Xbox and uses an internal rechargeable battery. Set up is as easy as plugging it in and turning it on and the quality is amazing. I really enjoy it.

My son got these from Santa for Christmas and just loves them. His old wired headset kept twisting and started to split. Now no cord and not wires showing. It's great!

Well worth the price. The setup is very simple. All you do is plug the USB dongle into the Xbox and turn the headphones on. Everything else is taken care of for you.

Great sound and comfortable. Love that they are wireless with a removable mic.

Love this headset! Sound for both game and chat are very clear without being overpowering. Have read about durability issues but this hasn't affected me yet

I've owned the X12 headphones for a while. Got the Xbox one and upgraded the headphones too. For the price I thought they'd be better than the X12. Wrong. Not as comfortable and the boom mic is not as good. But the sound quality is still good and over time you do get used to the fit on the head set. Battery life is excellent and set up is extremely simple. I'm sure there is better stuff out there but for the price and sound quality it's spot on.

I'm happy with this headset finally something that works and is good, no wires or adapters that broke easily. I hope they last because there no cheap.

My son was looking for a pair of headphones with a microphone and found an outstanding product in this one. The sound is amazing and he is using it all of the time. It even has a bass boost feature for that extra kick when he is playing his sports games and action games. Great product!

It works great about 75% of the time. However, the other 25% of the time the frequent disconnects with white noise is maddening. The headset will un-pair with the xbox and is tricky to restore. Audio and chat quality is fantastic when it works. Key word being WHEN. Save your money and buy a wired headset, or wait for a more refined version to be released.

I've owned 2 wired Turtle Beach headsets. This was my first wireless. The quality is better than my old wired ones. Use it all the time!

I've had other Turtle Beach head sets but these are by far the best, hands down. I can hear everything, which for me leads to more kills.
