I bought these to replace my PlayStation Gold headset for PS4 and I'm glad I did. Easy set up, sound great and are comfortable to wear. Have had them for about a month now and have zero complaints.

I picked this up after trying a few other headsets and returning them. I've been a fan of Turtle Beach, and I own a PX21 and an X11 as well. The sound quality is far better than the even the PX21 used with Turtle Beach's adapter on the PS4. My only issue is, as others have noted, the hum from the mic being on, and the intermittent cutout of chat audio. I gave it four stars still, since the mic hum is easily solved by muting it, and as long as you have a great internet connection, chat quality stays good. All in all, an amazing headset. Still, contemplating the Elite 800 to see if chat is better.

Long battery life at first, weak plastic shaft in headpiece. Will break overtime. Do not buy these.

Sound quality is very good. Comfort not so much (long sessions). Durability the worst ever! Headset band broke (both sides) within the first month. I pampered them because they were spendy, did not help. While looking at the first side to break just the weight of the ear piece broke the other side. Very disappointing!

Purchased head set on sale after getting tired of single ear piece. Not the most expensive set out there but are comfy on the ears and like the ability to split team chat and game sounds.

Don't let the price point scare you. These headphones are amazing! Setup is very simple. Although I did have to take a paperclip to the side of the USB receiver and manually reset the headphones before the controls would work properly. From open box to complete setup in less than 5 minutes.

These sound good and have fairly good features such as independent chat and volume controls. They fit ok on me but eventually felt uncomfortable. Everybody is different so they could feel better on someone else. They sound as good as any simulated virtual surround headphones I have tried. They may lack some bass as nearly every review of just about any headset out there mentions. The main problem is that they use a USB dongle and have a optical cable connection to actually receive input for virtual surround sound. That means that the USB dongle plugs in to the front of your PS4 and a short optical cable comes from the dongle to the back of the PS4's optical port. Because of this, they don't work on the PS4 slim because it lacks an optical port. It also means that you have to disconnect any stereo system optical connection you might already be using on your PS4. There is a work around to use optical out from your TV or receiver in the case of a PS4 slim but that means a longer optical cable which is not included and even more complicated connectivity. I got them to work on PC using the optical audio and USB as well so they are PC compatible but the optical plus USB makes it so you probably wont switch them between systems regularly. For the price I would say very seriously consider the Sony Gold Wireless headset over these as they use only a single USB dongle for simulated 7.1 on PS4, and I found they work flawlessly as stereo headphones on a PC and Mac without additional drivers provided you switch your audio output in system preferences or control panel.

These headphones have a great sound to them with several different boost options. My problem is they are built cheaply. The retractable ear peices are especially fragile.

I've purchased many different headphones for gaming. I'd definitely rank these up there with the best of them! They're extremely comfortable and have exceptional sound.

The turtle beach stealth 500 headset is a very comfortable headset but for the price tag the sound quality is lacking

Good headset...lots of nice features...very comfortable...didn't care for the microphone boom so I decided to go with the PlayStation gold headset and I returned these
