I bought this headset for my 8 year old son, who plays the PlayStation 4 on a regular basis. We no longer have to hear the explosions and the music from his video games. The sound quality is good, even when connected directly to the controller. It will not give you the surround sound effect though but it is good enough for an eight year old.

Stay a while and lisiten! This item works well however - my ears remain burdened after extended use!

I couldn't get more than two hours of battery life out of these headphones and when I would join a party and talk there was lots of static and a high-pitch whining noise so I returned them. Playstation brand worked much better

Cheaper than the PX5 older model and great for beginner gamer.

First off, the headphones are not as comfortable as expected. Sound quality is also lacking. For the price I expected a better quality headset. I would not recommend. I instead went with the Astro A50s which I LOVE!!!!

You have to be careful because the plastic piece on the adjustment can crack and split easy

I bought these off a recommend of a friend. He was right about them. They are awesome and add so much more to my gaming experience.

My son bought the turtle beach stealth 500 headset to use with his PS4. However, he loves them so much he uses them all the time and carries them with him everywhere he goes. He even connects them to his iPhone. He loves them and they are still working just fine over a year later.

I really like these Headphones. The only drawback is that they are a little tight on my head ( I am 6'3 and 200 Lbs) and the volume isn't as loud as I would like. Outside that they are GREAT, the lifespan is AMAZING, almost 4 days worth of gameplay before recharging.

Picked this up for around $75, won't really find better for that price... Love the different preset sound modes. This helps depending on the type of game you're playing, example: if you'd rather hear detailed game sounds like foot steps for stealth shooters, or if you wanna hear the bass and music more prominent during other games.

The Turtle Beach 500P Wireless Headset is just what I was looking for in a wireless headset.

My old PS3 headset wuz cutting out on me so I needed an upgrade. After researching , deez was wut I got. Day good and junk.

These have pretty good sound quality. My main knock on them is they have a blue flashing light on the side and in a dark room it can be a bit annoying. They are fairly comfortable after long use not so much. The sound controls are great lots of options.

I read many reviews but decided to go with these headsets because I needed something. Turns out they are pretty average headset for an above average price. The headset itself it tight on the head and made of plastic. feels overall kind of cheap. I have a much older turtle beach headset that still works but is made from much sturdier materials. The sound quality is fine but nothing amazing for boasting a 5.1 surround sound. The chat and audio aren't separated there are two dials but only one works. Also this is a complaint that no one else cares about but when you turn on the PS4 no sound comes through the TV. You have to turn on then off the headset or unplug it from the console. Kinda defeats the reason for having a wireless headset. Overall it is not a bad headset but I wouldn't pay over $60 for it. It's just not worth it. There are better headsets out there.

My wife and I bought these Turtle Beach headphones for our son and he loves them so far. Nice preset modes also.

Not made for left handed people, can turn around but mic is not too compatible

Not happy that it says 7.1, but isn't. You can not get 7.1 through optical cable. Also the chat and sound of game are adjusted together on one dial even tho there is two dials, not cool. I do however like them overall. Great price and good sound.

They work great for gaming but not as headphones alone for listening to music

I was leery of purchasing any headphones but I am very happy with this purchase.
