this is something I highly recommend. It is so useful.

Works well ... but a snug fit for larger heads. The headband doesnt extend wide enough ... after a while my ears get sweaty from extended wearing.

Average wireless headset. It does the job, I like the fact that the microphone is detachable.

I bought this headset to replace my old P11 headset to work with my new PS4 purchased here at Best Buy. I didnt use it for the first couple weeks, then slowly would use it here and there still not enough to need a charge. Once the headset finally required a charge I let it charge over night, then it would not power up the next day. If I held the buttonto power it on down it would turn on, but as soon as you let it go, it would turn off. If you plug the USB cable into it, it wil power on like normal, but you would need a really long usb cable not to mention its a wireless headset! I got frustrated and stoppped even trying to mess with it. Sent an email to Turtle Beach to help, would take at least a week to get a response, then they tell me to check thier website knowledge base, nothing on there to help me. Finally I recently got an email response from someone else at Turtle Beach to use some software and do a hard reset, well its too bad that they didnt bother reading where I said its a 500p not an X, the 500x can use the software, mine cannot... so im almost at 5 months with a pretty much useless headset with no sight of getting an exchange or replacement yet.... Would not recommend!

My son is very happy with the product BUT I have had to return it 4 or 5 times due to it stops charging. I was told they have no warranty so make sure you purchase the $20 -2 yr plan Best Buy offers. Only thing us you have to repay this every time you return it ! Sad part is they made me pay again this last time and it had only been 6 weeks !! If there was a good choice of other brands to choose from I would.

First off, let me say that the sound from these cans was incredible; every footstep, bullet ricochet, etc. was heard distinctly. Problem is, the cheap plastic that's holding the ear cups to the head frame was a critical misstep. Mine broke within 2 months, and BB nor Turtle Beach would honor the warranty.

I bought this headset thinking it was going to be great, even took out a two year warranty on it. The headset always breaks up when using it on my ps4. The sound goes all off, and people in chat are always telling I'm breaking up, or I hear them breakup all the time. I read the instructions and set it up multiple times to make sure it wasn't user error, but no resolution. I even decided to plug in the cable that comes with it thinking it was a Bluetooth problem, and guess what? Same problem I'm sick of this name brand. This is the second one I bought which was an upgrade to the non-Bluetooth one or at least I thought it was I guess it was just a price upgrade. Trash!!!!!

I primarily use this with my PS4 and BF4, the sound quality is probably slightly better than satisfactory compared to high end music headphones. The bass is great, battery life is great, the separate chat and game audio controls are great as well. I only wish the setup instructions werent so confusing, there is a lot of misinformation out there, just follow the included instructions exactly as written and pay no mind to how users online are doing it, most are wrong.

this was my second pair of these.... both of them broke on me within a year... unless you are really careful with your headsets i wouldnt recommend these.

Wasn't a huge headset fan until I got this. It's comfortable around the ears, the sound is good/deep makes you feel like you're in the game, the mic sounds clear, good battery life and easy setup. It's worth the price.

As an older guy (but new gamer) I was very excited to purchase a higher end head set to make gaming even more fun. I chose this headset after being disappointed with the lower quality headsets made by Sony. I returned the Sony Silver Headset because it was so uncomfortable and picked up this Turtle Beach model. Pros. - Very good sound. Great Bass. (Maybe even a little too much base) - Easy to set up. Good instructional videos. Easy for a tech novice. - Ergonomics were well thought out and the controls are easy to access. Cons: - Quality of construction. After six months the telescoping adjustment to fit the headset to the head broke on both sides. The materials are not durable at all. Please know that I don’t have some melon head. I wear a typical 7 1/8th baseball cap. I should have saved my receipt. I didn’t. Hard lesson learned. - Value: The headset is pretty expensive. Moral of the story, save your receipt or buy the protection plan. They sound great but will break on you because of poor materials and workmanship.

Entry lvl headset not the best quality. Spend a bit extra for better

I bought the headset on sale for $99 but I would have bought it for full price either way. It's pretty solid, good sound, easy presets to use. There's voice to let you know what you've selected in the headset. It's a bit heavier than my other headsets, but it doesn't feel cumbersome. Played 4+ hours without getting a headache. I like being able to chat through apps on my phone, while playing and still hearing the games all through the headset. The mic mirrors your voice, so you can refrain from yelling because you aren't able (to hear yourself). There are lots of tech-y details that I can't really explain, but the sound quality is really amazing. Good surround.

It is a sturdy headset but that's about it. The sound quality isn't very good and trying to chat with friends is nearly impossible. The microphone chuts in and out so communicating with my teams suffered.

I bought these headsets after being disappointed with the PX22 unit that was not natively compatible with the PS4 (that unit required an additional piece of equipment, which was all wired). These things are wireless and work beautifully! Sounds are crisp, mic is responsive and they can hold a charge. Setup is easy and nearly effortless. The only issue I have with these is that they're a bit tight, so they're not comfortable after about two hours (which you should be taking a break after an hour anywho :D ). Overall, they're awesome!

I pick these headsets up this week after having bought the sony Gold which are also good headsets. I have to say that the stealth 500P are really great when installed properly, the surrounds sound and presets features are on point. Wireless capabilities you cannot beat, it is a complete wireless system ( game sound and chat ) no chat cables. If i had to nit pick they are very light but snug, the blinking power connection lights should be steady especially in a dark room. Other than that these headsets with its features are great for the price.
