These headphones sound great for $100 headphones. I purchased these on 2/14 and the arm on the R side has snapped in half. Very cheap plastic. You want to be very delicate with these headphones as they break easy.

Headset is great quality. Only issue is that the volume isn't exactly the loudest. Overall good purchase.

First of all, I've used these headset for about 2 months now. I've seen all the reviews saying about how easy they are breaking. Well i game 4+ hours 7 days a week and i've had no issues so far. I really don't know how people treat their headsets but after i'm done, i've always set it on the ps4 or table. I have a 4 year old daughter running around and i've dropped it a few times but haven't notice any cracks or breaks. Battery life is pretty awesome. I don't have to worry about not having a mic or headset at all. Although when the battery is low, you have about 5 minutes before it shuts off. now the surround sound on this isn't the best, but it gets the job done. i'd rate it 7/10. If you want a 10/10 surround, best cough up $200+ for a headset. I play a lot of CODs, and i can hear very well with awareness perk, if not running with it, i can still hear them a short distance before running into them. I personally think this headset is awesome over all and has met my expectations. The next headset may have to wait for a long time to come.

I have owned a set of these headphones for almost a year now. In that time I have had to send two sets in to Turtle Beach for replacement. The sound on these headphones is GREAT! Unfortunately, the materials used in the product seem to be not up to the standards that I thought Turtle Beach used. The arms on the side of the headphones snaps with normal use due to thin plastic being used at a stress point. No rough use or abuse is necessary. One would think that a company like TB would at least support the natural stress points with metal or at least something sturdy. At least Turtle Beach seems to have a decent warranty.

I have a PS4 and it took a little tweaking to get this headset to work properly. What I don't get is why the manual specifically tells you to set your PS4 to have a Dolby 5.1ch output when the box blatantly advertises DTS 7.1ch. Setting my PS4 to have the headset audio set to "All Audio" instead of "Chat Audio" seems to fix the initial muffled sound that I received with these. Overall, the sound quality is fantastic. You may have to tune whatever game your playing and adjust the volume. Some games are louder than others. Otherwise, you will get distortion due to the sound being too loud. Overall, the headset does the trick. It's over the hear (not on ear). I could never play video games without a headset ever again. This headset adds an extra dimension to your gameplay (directional sound is awesome)

Excellent product! Very comfortable and the sound quality is amazing! Truly changed my gaming experience! Love how you can also listen to your favorite shows on Netflix if hooked through your PS4 :)

I bought two of these. Both had decent sound for the first five minutes of use until there was extreme static and feedback in the earpieces. I sit about 10-15 feet from my television so it wasn't distance and I followed all troubleshooting procedures to no avail. I own a turtle beach headset for my xbox one and I love it but the wireless option didn't work well.

Easy to set up right out of the box. Very good sound and easy to use. Only complaint is they are a little snug, but not enough to be a deal breaker.

I really like this headset and I wish I could give I five stars but I can't on account of the low buzzing that occurs when the mic is unmuted. Its not a big deal most of the time because you can't hear it over the game sound.

These headphones were purchased for my son, replacing a broken Turtle Beach 400 series due to a broken head strap - a common problem we found out from customer service during the warranty replacement. Since the purchase, my son has logged hours and hours of use with them, and has rated them as superior to his last gaming pair. The fit, noise reduction, auto mic, are all great, as was his last turtle beach pair, but what makes this pair better is the how the softer fabric (ear) pads fit, allowing for longer, more comfortable play.

Good sound. Battery lasts. Wish there was more capability to adjust the sound.

I bought them because I was looking for something to my PS4 wireless 7.1 Surround Sound,currently have TurtleBeach PX4, comparing to them 500p fall out when it comes to sound quality, it is just strange, that surprised me the most when you turn surround sound, gives a strange echo sound like dissolved in a closed barrel sound, the sound was good only in stereo mode, and tested the headphones with Driveclub and Battlefied 4, and terribly failed me and I had to return it but their look and overall wear comfort I really liked, especially weight, very light if they were not sound problem it would be perfect. - Strang virtual sound which most disappointing + lightweight, fell good on your head, comfortable

The earpiece extensions will break within two months of use. The plastic they used is defective and you're left with $150 worth of junk. Other than that, the sound quality was great.

this headset is good for the ps3/ps4 i used it on both console and for the price you can't beat that! i would highly recommend this headset over the official playstation

This headphones were good the only thing I didn't like about them is that I can hear static noise in the background when playing. The people I would play with also could hear it and it was very annoying . I retuned them .

It was awesome until the side band broke. Don't even know how, I set it down and saw it was floppy like a broken arm.

The wireless quality is okay, but the quality isn't what's advertised. First of it's not DTS (the setup specifically says NOT to select DTS - but to use Dolby instead) and it's not 7.1 surround (it's 5.1)! Second, if you're interested in using one headset for multiple devices, the usb wireless adapter won't work on other devices, and the wired audio quality is HORRIFIC. It kept buzzing despite different cables and devices. For $129 I would definitely NOT recommend buying this for yourself or anyone else. And frankly I'm upset that the other reviews rated this headset so highly.

I felt the headset seemed to work better on the ps3 than the ps4 for games like Call of Duty.

My Godson asked for this for Xmas to use while gaming on his PC computers. Once I explained him they had to be charged 1st before freaking out about then not working. He is now forever using with everything wireless including with his iPhone 6.

Similar to the photos already submitted for this product, my headband broke. It snapped on both sides. The plastic band is cheap and not reinforced. I submitted for an RMA through Turtle Beach support, and although they promise 10-14 day resolution, I'm going on a month with nothing. They don't even reply to email inquiries anymore. I don't recommend these or any Turtle Beach product until the company figures out how to treat people who buy their products.
