not a bad product for the price that you pay for it

I bought this right before they went on sale for more than $100 cheaper, but that's how electronics go, I guess. I've had some issues with it. Latency is high, and makes playing with external speakers impossible. And makes playing with just the headset annoying. Did all the firmware updates and such too. Also the XBox seems to think it's in use even when off, meaning you have to unplug the transceiver in order to get chat audio though speakers or controller headset. Not a terrible product, but not worth the money, especially with the delay issues. As for the sound quality itself, I wasn't even that impressed.

Good mid-level wireless headset for the XBox One. I expect Turtle Beach will come out with a higher level headset in the next year. Not as nice as my XP500's that I have for the 360. These work well, the volume and sound effects are easily adjustable.

Limited on how loud you can turn the device up. But the surround sound effects are awesome. Think it was very expensive for what you got.

These are flat out the best sounding gaming headphones I have ever heard. The wireless aspect is great too. no wires means complete freedom.

Out of the box these deliver amazing sound and comfort. While below you will see cons that as much cons against the product as cons against Turtle Beach for not offering adequate instructions for all of the features these headphones have. I have seen some reviews say how these feel flimsy or cheap for the price. I personally don’t see that. As a comparison they feel sturdier than my beats solo headphones. At this price point I am a little surprised they don’t have the leather ear piece like they do on the XO Seven’s. I do like the current ear piece but at $229 it might be a nicer touch to have that. Wireless: I have used these without interruption about 30-40 feet away from the console. That is the biggest difference I feel from the wired counterparts, the controller starts to lose connection the farther out you go thereby losing your headphone connection Pros: • Amazing Surround Sound • Earpiece comfort for prolonged gameplay • Very easy setup, Just download update patch plug in and play • Very clear mic when talking to other players. It is a little bothersome at first but once you are in gameplay you can really notice it at all. I just know that this can be an issue for most headphones that can drive some people to return them. Although this is not as bad as other headphones I have used in the past Overall: A terrific product well worth the price. In today’s market of high priced headphones these offer terrific quality against competitors. Not only does this work with your Xbox but also your mobile device. That is something you can’t do out of the box with Beats or any other high end headphone Update 3/1/15: After using these daily for the past month i can say that everything is just as true as it was the first few days that i tried them. I ran into issues at max 4 times with the mic not working. I think it was just a connectivity issue as each time i reset my system and they began working perfectly again. I have used this on my new Xbox one elite. I love the way it feels and works. When I turn my unit on it come one with it. Not sure about if the installed battery's will keep it going for a long time.

Great product would definitely recommend love its ability to answer phones and listen to my ipod while I play games would definintely recommend

Haven't had any issues yet. Just wish it would turn off when charging. If you forget to turn it down you can hear the sound from your tv.

Great basic headset if you want more sound you need to get a more expensive version.

Great headset for gaming only dislike is that the battery is a rechargeable and cant be replaced.

These headsets are great, I have tried a few others and these are the best by far. Super comfortable, connect every time without fail, and great bass boost.
