Best Xbox1 Wireless Headset!
These to me are the best because heard other top headsets that mics sometimes don't work? Turtle Beach is trusted, it's wireless and can plug your phone to listen to music also if want to play music low with game or whatever! Have also a PS4 and also got the 500P the brother of 500X. 500P talks when you turn it on and seems lighter and was cheaper and sounds a bit louder? 500X doesn't talk when turn on, but after knowing your settings of sounds and familiar with headset, it's a great headset for XBOX1 if you want to go complete wireless.

Best option to date on Xbox One
I purchased these Turtle Beaches a few months ago, and waited until I had a chance to put them to good use before submitting the review. The first concern I had when purchasing this model of Turtle Beaches was the battery. I owned the x42 wireless model for the Xbox 360, and found myself constantly replacing batteries until moving to rechargeables. Even then the AAA batteries would not last very long. I was pleasantly surprised with this specific models battery life, however. This model has its own lithium battery that is rechargeable through a usb cord. I use my phone brick to charge it right now, as it is much quicker than plugging in to the back of the Xbox. I currently use the headset almost every night, and only charge the 500x once a week with current usage. I anticipate the more charges I make, the less efficient they will be. For now the battery is holding up. The most important factor is the sound quality to me. I expected to have a high quality sound with the 500x model as my x42s blew me away. I was not very happy to find that the price tag did not meet my expectations. Even though you can hear the 7.1 surround sound playing first person shooters, the differentiation between speakers front to back gets lost in sounds left to right. The bass in the headset was also less than stellar. Low noises were not as prominent as those in past models of the Turtle Beaches. While I was not impressed with the completeness of sound, I found the overall quality from a gaming standpoint was still good, and this model still outperforms other available options on the Xbox One. My only complaint is that you must max out the volume to really hear the sound the way the developers intended. Ultimately this is where I was let down most in my expectations as I could achieve this sound quality at 1/2 to 3/4 sound level in past models. The microphone for the chat ability is on par with what I expected in a headset. The volume control for the other members can be adjusted separately from sound which is a pretty standard feature in all models. The big bonus feature that is supposed to separate this model from others is the adaptive sound that lets you hear your own environment through the headset. There are three levels of loudness if you can choose (zero, medium, and loud) from. I find that this feature allows me to not feel like I am shut off from the things going on around me. It took a little bit to get used to this feature, but now I find it hard to use these headsets without that feature. I bought the 500x model primarily because my toddlers destroy and/or lose my chords around the house. The wireless option works to perfection, and I could not ask for a better option. The current Xbox One controllers also have an issue losing the connection to headsets plugged in causing you to lose vocal communication even though you can hear what others are saying. Complete wireless communication bypasses that issue. The only negative I will say I have noticed is that sometimes your voice lags behind others in party chat for some reason. I would definitely purchase again, but wish Turtle Beach company would increase quality of speakers for price.
