Yes! You can use them to watch TV. Works especially well when you route your TV through your Xbox One

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From what i understand, if you are using it in conjunction with your Xbox you should be able to hear everything through the headset. So if you have your cable box hooked into your system, you should be able to hear everything perfectly. I've watched Netflix and Blu-Ray movies with this headset. If you plan on using this device WITHOUT the Xbox, it comes with a cable so that you can use it with other devices (Iphone, Ipad etc).
