• Yes! You can use them to watch TV. Works especially well when you route your TV through your Xbox One

• I know it will work on my tv and watching movies. But the Xbox has to have it hooked up to your cable or satellite.

• I use mine for TV and gaming. As long as the TV passes through your Xbox like my directv does you a good.

• My son uses this headset on his mobile phone, laptop without any problems. The only thing is you would have to use a wire connector .

• From what i understand, if you are using it in conjunction with your Xbox you should be able to hear everything through the headset. So if you have your cable box hooked into your system, you should be able to hear everything perfectly. I've watched Netflix and Blu-Ray movies with this headset. If you plan on using this device WITHOUT the Xbox, it comes with a cable so that you can use it with other devices (Iphone, Ipad etc).
