||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I HAD THIS UNIT FOR 1 WEEK AND RETURNED IT RIGHT AWAY, TURTLE BEACH ARE AMAZING BUT NOT THIS UNIT, IF YOU GOING TO BUY TURTLE BEACH YOU HAVE TO GET THE HIGHER END ONES.

Awesome, versatile headphones

The game/chat mixer on the XBOX adapter is really convenient, and the bass booster really adds some power. The headphones also unplug from the XBOX adapter to plug into a phone, computer, iPod, etc, so it's really the only headset you need to buy, and the mic detaches too, adding more versatility. It's a great deal for the price, with sound quality comparable to much more expensive headphones.

Excellent headset with 1 minor flaw

Also has a bass boost on the control pad but I have not needed it. It's very comfortable on my XL head. Earpads fit over my ears and I wear glasses. No discomfort at all. You can hear yourself talking on the mic so you won't end up shouting at other people. It also does drain my battery like some people have said. My only complaint is that the 3.5m plug is a straight on plug instead of an angled plug. It sticks into my stomach when holding the controller and I'm afraid it might get damaged. I really like this headset.
