    Nice headset

I find this headset to be comfortable and a nice upgrade over the headset that came with my Xbox One. Good sound quality, but having this headset plugged in seems to make my controller stay on longer before putting itself to sleep, which is draining my batteries faster than normal when I am watching netflix at night.

This is my second Turtle Beach headset as the first one didn’t last long. Now the left speaker on this headset no longer works. Will try a different brand in the future.

    Excellent Sound and Features.

First of all I'd like to say that I've owned 4 pairs of Turtle Beach Gaming headphones over the past few years, ranging from super cheap (sub $60) to really nice (over $150). These are hands down my favorite! The sound quality is the best I've had by far. The stereo sound is perfect for first person shooters like Call of Duty/Titanfall/Battlefield etc.. It enables you to hear footsteps in the direction of the other players very clearly, which in turn allows you to get a jump on them. The included Ear Force XO audio controller is awesome! It allows you to independently adjust the game volume and chat volume to get the perfect mix. It also has a bass boost feature to get booming bass which is great for explosions, heavy bass music, better voice depth, etc. My favorite feature is that the controller is almost wireless. There is only one cable on the whole headset and it plugs into the controller. This means no more USB and other audio cable plugs that you must connect directly to the gaming console. It has a detachable mic which provides quality voice chat. The construction of the headset is decent. (not the best, but not bad by any means). The ear cushions are very breathable and sit comfortably around the ear. (one of the better cushions from Turtle Beach I've experienced). The price point is excellent for what you get. The only thing I can really find negative about these headphones is that the ear cups are quite small. If you have a larger head and/or ears, this headset might be a bit small for your comfort. Overall I feel these headphones are a great but for any Xbox One gamer who is trying to save a bit of money and still have a great sounding, multipurpose headset full of features and the freedom from a mess of cables.

To be honest upfront, I returned these within a week. They worked just fine but they were not super comfortable. I wish Xbox had better headphones like Sony does.

This headset was horrible, I read all the reviews & thought "perfect" easy to setup.. Yeah right, the directions were horrible, we could not get them to work, I went on Turtle Beach website and nothing there to help nor a telephone number to call. We found a YouTube video on the headset & that guy who posted provided us with the best directions BUT it still didn't work. Took it back to Best Buy & got a refund. We ended up with the Kinect which was so much better!!

    Great Headset

These is an awesome headset for the price that you pay. The 50mm speakers allow your ears to be comfortable and after long sessions of gaming my ears did not hurt. They also deliver very nice sound quality with crisp highs and booming bass. I use these to listen to music as well and I would say they are about as good as some other high end headsets/phones. The audio controller that is included is very convenient. I can raise and lower the game and chat volume quickly while staying in my game. With good care these will last a long while. I was lucky to get mine on sale and I couldn't be happier.

I originally had the TB X12 for my 360 and decided to stick with TB. The XO One are a great headset. It does come with the headset adapter for Xb1 which is great. The headset is comfortable so I can have long hours of gameplay. The sound quality is great. Love the fact I can still use the headset on my mobile device to or on my computer. Great buy for the money!

    Good Entry Level Headset

Turtle Beach was the standard for pro-gaming headsets. They now have many affordable entry level headsets. Dollar for dollar this set is a great bargain. You can hear in stereo, and it even mimics surround passably. If you don't want or need to drop $300 on a headset, this is the one for you.

I bought these 2 days ago on black Friday. I didn't go in wanting a set but figured they might be a good idea for late night gaming to not be too loud. I'm definitely sold on having a set of headphones. I also bought a surface pro 4 and these will be great for gaming on the go/on a plane. They also work pretty good as headphones for listening to music. I have never had anything better than $10 ear buds so this is a definite upgrade. My only gripe is the volume while plugged into the Xbox controller. It goes to a (what I describe as) a 7/10 volume level. It's probably good for long term hearing health but some games are quieter than others and more control would be nice. While using plugged into my phone the volume goes to 11/10 so they are definitely capable of increased volume. Im going to look at different options but I don't think I'm going to find anything worth upgrading to for anywhere close to what I got these for on black Friday.

comes with the turtle beach style controller adaptor which I think is better than the official xbox one. and the sound is pretty good for the price of these. the bad side is they are cheap, therefore feel cheap with the plastic they use, and the headset cord is really short.
