It's really a good wireless headset, but a couple features I wish they would fix: I would rather have a boom mic, than the lesser quality of the integrated one on this headset; and there are some sound quality/connectivity hiccups every once in a while. So this seems slightly overpriced for what you pay.

I consider myself a hardcore console gamer and good sound quality gives you advantage over your opponents. Now a days since videogames have cross paths with movie makers, music and sound effects play a great role on the experience you get out of a title. The elite 800 as there name says, are turtle beach approach to rtetake the videogame best audio headsets in the market. They are not cheap, but the detail put on it are worth every penny. Soft cushioned cups, wireless technology, wireless charging station. The down side is that even the box says 7.1 surround sound they are only 5.1headsets, turtle beach support is kinda lame too. In the box you will be offered a turtle beach elite membership, this will give you 2 headset interchangeable plate sets you can choose online once you register and a shirt or hoody from turtle beach, i haven't received them yet but im looking forward to it. In addition, you will be granted special turtle beach offerings. Fimally what i dont like about the product is the chat capabilities, my friends tell me they hear me with a lot of echo and the buttons on the headset are really easily pressed.

This by far is one of the best headsets I have invested in. Comfort is very important to me and it has cushions around the war that makes it really comfortable. It also has many settings that you can adjust to and it has Bluetooth. My only concern is my sometimes people will hear me cut off when talking.

A little pricey, but there are so many options on this headset. I'm a big fan of the Bluetooth and no boom mic.

Exactly what we were hoping for. They fit very nice and have plenty of ways to customize for any occasion (gaming, music or phone calls). The internal mic is the way to go, no more annoying mic bar!

Upgraded from the 510xp series and this headset has much better sound! Although the ear cups are a little smaller and get uncomfortable after long periods of wear. Like over 4 hours or so. Otherwise top notch product!

and my most frustrating thing was that the audio options are big buttons on the side of the headset, laying in the sofa and turning the head a bit would accidentally press a button and change a setting with a voice feedback muting the audio... Sound quality is really good.. when it works

This headset is wonderful! I can hear everything much more clearly than with any other headset that I have used. I can actually pinpoint where enemies are when playing games (i.e. above, below, around the corner.)

Love every bit of this. Well worth the extra money for versus the cheaper ones. No wires or microphone sticking out and the charging base is so awesome. I love the rechargeable battery inside and lasts along time.

Turtle beach never let's me down their sound is always on point and there headphones are built to last this is my fourth set not because of issues but just because of the new features they constantly introduce

What can you say, they're Turtle Beach! Excellent noise cancellation as my kid cannot hear me yell 2 feet from his ear! You get what you pay for and these gaming headphones do not disappoint.

Features that I like are: Bluetooth compatibility, wired or Bluetooth capability and great audio quality. No Cons Expensive but like they say, you sometimes get what you pay for; in this case, well worth it.

This headset has so many features. The sound quality is great and it it gives you an advantage over the competition if you play online forst person shooters.

These head phones met my needs for multiple purposes. I can connect to my home phone, cell phone and my PlayStation 4 (wish they also connected to my xbox) wirelessly. Super comfortable and a quick recharge.

Solid headset but better suited for the PS4. Xbox One version; the Elite 800X will be released this spring

The elite 800 are no doubt a very nice gaming headset with a lot of nice features, but they didn't get loud enough to my liking, I swap them out with Astros a40s and been very happy with the Astros since I switched!

Headset sounds good, surround sound is superb. I have not updated the headset from the box, the iOS app is literally non functioning, but the headset itself out of the box performs well.

This is my 3rd pair from Turtle Beach and I must say that they continually improve on their design. They are a bit tight on my head which causes me to give my ears a rest after a few hours. Maybe there is a break-in period, so I'm not concerned about that. They are plenty loud with crisp highs and deep lows. I have them connected to my Xbox, iPhone, and Mac all at the same time which is extremely useful. There is 1 problem that is very annoying and I don't know where it comes from. Once in a while, I hear this nasty static sound that reminds me of the sound that you hear when calling your fax machine. It goes away after a minute but that is not the sort of thing that I should have to deal with after spending this sort of money. I took them back and swapped them out for another pair and I am getting the exact same problem with the replacement headset. Maybe an update is needed but after I try that, I'll be out of ideas.

Many Xbox one premium headsets were destroyed before making the decision to purchase these. They have taken a few drops, they are durable and sound amazing. Do yourself a favor in the long run and get these.

A lot of reviews talk about bad mic quality with this headset; however, neither my friend who owned it before me nor myself have had any issues with voice on Xbox One. Bluetooth works great and music sounds great through it, wireless from Xbox One, and through the provided audio cable. The 800X also has plenty of audio presets to choice from built-in and available through the Ear Force Audio Hub used to update and change presets for any situation.
