    Not worth the money

I purchased the Turtle Beach Elite Pro headset to replace a cheap $40 pair that has been good but finally wore out. i did research on this headset and only seen good things. when i opened the box it looked like a good buy, but i noticed the cord was not usb and only a headset plug. when i plugged it into my pc the sound worked but no mic output. i looked it up online a turtle beach said i need a splitter to make it work with pc even though it is advertised to work with pc. so after ordering the splitter it now works however you cant hear yourself like you can on other headsets and the inline volume control only controls master volume. also the cord is only 4 feet long and cant reach my pc ports! because it has no usb you cant use the turtle beach earforce audio hub to adjust settings, your just stuck with a cheep volume knob. another thing is i see people saying this headset will keep your ears cool? thats a lie, at first they are cool 10 minutes later they are just as hot as a $40 pair of headsets. i would not recommend this headset to anyone.

I bought these after extensive research. The reviews are pretty decent, but everyone says they are comfortable. After an hour of wearing them the pain starts to set in and after a few hours it become unbearable. While they sound fantastic, if your ears are average size and not small then these headphones are going to hurt.

I have bought turtle beach headsets for years. But I have bought 2 headsets in the last 2 years and both broke on the top. They use cheap plastic to hold them together. I will not buy any more turtle beach.

headset requires a separate purchase of the mixamp and audio splitter if your computer has separate headphone and mic jack, which no where on the box says you need to purchase the splitter separately, cushions and comfortec system is gimmicky, cable is extremely short. for a product that is priced at 200$ this should be 120$ oh yeah the TAC mixamp is another 200$ skip this overpriced headset

No cable splitter included. If this headset is pro then it should come with extras and a few cords. I felt a little disappointed to see just one cable. And then there is the adapter for the xbox controller. These things should not be sold separately
