Q: do I need any extra things to use this with my pc ? like an adapter or something like that.

A: You only get one 3.5mm cable. That plugs into the speaker port not the chat port. So in order to chat you will need a splitter. My chat does not work yet since I don't have a splitter

Q: Do you need a mix amp in order to get directional sounds? Such as where you are getting shot at from in a shooting game?

A: I personally play on a PS4 and I don’t use a mix amp. Like on Fortnite, I know exactly where shots are coming from.

Q: If I have a older xbox one controller without the 3.5mm jack will I need the xbox headset adaptor to use this headset?

A: Yes, you will need the stereo headset adapter for original Xbox One controllers that do not have a 3.5mm jack.

A: Unfortunately not! You can kinda do this in the xbox menus. Just turn the mic sensitivity down.

Q: The set up was a bit arduous but I am experiencing a problem now where the left earphone will not give much sound or any at at all. Brand new out of the box from TB. Maybe aux cord? I'm a bit upset. Only after the mix amp btw.

A: most likely it's your xbox settings, for some reason xbox limits all headsets so that's why the mix amps help assist headsets reach their full potential. go to 1...setting. 2..display & sound 3..volume 4.chat mixer adjust accordingly 5.party chat, set to headset. sometimes when you hot home button it will show volume prior to settings. of so adjust there then setting and follow steps above. each headset acts differently so its trial and error.

Best headset for Xbox out there.
This is the nicest headset I have ever had. The only pair of headphones that I have owned that would even compare are some Bose over ears, which cost more, but I would have to say the TB pros are much better sounding, and more comfortable. With basically any other headset than Turtle Beach, I tend to get echo in party chat, which can be extremely annoying and makes people not want to party up. I have never had that problem with any TB headset. The only slight downside about this headset I would say is it is a bit heavy, but the only time i notice this is on flights when I am leaning forward on the tray table.

Great headset
After about two weeks with these, I can say that I really do prefer them over Astros, and that says a lot. I love how comfortable they fit on my head and the cooling gel in the ear cups is probably my favorite feature for them. They're sound canceling as well, so you'll hear nothing but in game sounds, and that's best, especially I'm tournaments. My only issue is the price, but for me it was well worth it.

Missing features, low volume level
This was my first pair of gaming headphones and I was displeased so I returned them. I tried them while playing on an Xbox One connected directly into the controller's 3.5mm jack. The good: The ear pads feel cool and comfortable against your head and the mic feels premium. The Bad: There is only one volume adjustment and mute toggle. The volume at max level was the absolute minimum you can fully hear everything. I was expecting to be able to turn the volume up louder. Bass and surround sound was average and I wasn't impressed or satisfied. Ultimately, don't get these if you have a good sound system.
