The Turtle Beach - Recon 200 WIRED headphones are great. The noise cancelling and comfort is really good. The only thing that made it a 4 instead of 5 is that it needs to be charged. For $60, this product is well worth the cost. Feels quite comfortable, sound and mic quality are both very good, it hits the marks on the important stuff. As other reviewers have said, it won't work at all without a charge, which is a downside. It also doesn't indicate battery levels, so when the battery runs out, it just shuts off. But for what you're paying, it's worth it.

I bought this headset so I wouldn’t wake up my kids when I gamed. I initially thought I would get a cheaper one then eventually upgrade to a better one but after owning it I realized I didn’t need a more expensive one. This headset meets all my needs. Noise canceling, good surround sound adjustable mic but most importantly it’s comfortable for long gaming sessions .

I have had this product for about a month now and it has been an overall good experience. The only issue I have is the that it requires charging even though it is a plug in mic. The sound quality is great and the headset itself is very comfortable. I would recommend to dedicated console players, as it is not necessarily built for a PC.

These are great headphones for the price point. Fits well and are snug for my head. But might feel slightly tight if the shape of your head is big. I really like the feature that you can mute the mic by just folding it close. Overall these are very good entry level headphones which gives good sound and audio.

Headset is very good for the price. Comfort is awesome, sound quality and base are legit. Mic clarity is on point. Only downside is the battery life seems like I charge it every other day after about 5 hours of usage per day. Don't forget to turn off while not using. I would strongly recommend.

I love the versatility of the sound and mic volume. The mic is very clear and the other players can hear me just fine. I also enjoy the comfort of the headphones on my ears. My only issue would be that there isn’t any auto shut off if you forget to turn them off. If you leave them on your battery will be dead the next day. However, they can be used while you are charging if you have a long enough cord.

Not very loud sound. I wish the had more volume. Also I wish i didnt have to charge them. There are some brands that just work by connecting them to the controller.

I returned the headset. The price was good on sale. The biggest problem for me is that they have battery that need to be charged with a separate cable, what's the point of having wired headset with battery, if it was wireless it's ok, but for wired headset is unacceptable. The sound quality is good but not as expected, it varies in different devices on a same music video, sounds great on my phone, but not so good on my tablet and PC, also sound completely different on Xbox mode and PS4 mode. The only 2 things I liked are the loudness and deep base. Also the headband has limited adjustment so if your head is bigger they woudn't fit. It's not a bad headset, but compared to my other Corsair HS60, the sound is not better.

I use these to watch Netflix via the Xbox, especially when the movie Im watching has a few words I don't want my little one to hear or its late and the families asleep. I also use these for a fps game as well, in both scenarios these bad boys do a great job of bringing out crisp, clear sound and awesome bass as well. Not sure about having to charge the headset since I’m not sure how long the charge may last. Id hate to be into the middle of a good game and/ or movie and have the headset die because of a charge. Hence the 4 stars, other than that, love the sound and the headset quality. Monitoring battery life is not a deal breaker for what this headset brings to the table. Love my BB “Deal of the Day”!!

Not just for the PS4 which is why I bought mine. Talk to your friends online while you are working and need help, or make a phone call by linking your phone to your pc and go hands free. The sound is amazing if you are gaming or listening to music but they are Turtle Beach!

I bought these for work meetings while working from home to use during Zoom meetings. These headphones are amazing!! Super comfortable to wear for almost eight hours on a busy workday as a graphic designer!!! I was talking to my co-workers and they sound as if their coming straight through my MacBook Pro speakers. It really shocked me the first time I used them. They are not marketed as noise canceling headphones but I can’t hear anything when someone else is talking to me when I have them on. Pro tip: If using on an Apple device, switch to PS4 mode and they work like dream!!

Soft and comfortable headset. Sound quality is above average, but nothing too premium. Works well with anything that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Though I don't see why it has to be charged since it's not wireless. Great headset overall.

My god, this headset is so good. I never own an amplified gaming headset until this baby comes along. I bought it on sale and couldn't be happier. The amplification feature of this headset allows you hear your own mic so you know if you're talking soft or loud. It's quite an innovation that you can monitor your own mic. Also the sound output on this is very immersive, I used it on both PC and my PS4 currently and it's amazing. Minus one star for rechargeable battery on the microphone amp. Despite being a wired headset, this still needs to be charged which kind of a hassle for gamers like myself but it's not a deal breaker. Charging is also optional only if you needed the amplification of the headset otherwise, you can just use this like any other wired gaming headset, plugging into the 3.5mm Headphone jack.

It has great sound quality and is comfortable to wear. The cord is annoying because it’s really long and you’re not able to unplug it and replace it with a shorter one. It’s one of the best headsets for the price.

I got this at a really good price on black friday , otherwise it woyld have 3 stars. It actually has amazing sound a mic , i was impressed. The major problem is that its a wired headset thats needs to be charged . It has an on/off switch , if you forget to turn it off (which you will) , itll be dead by the next time you try to use it . Also , the head band is tight , especially on the top , it feel like youre balancing a dictionary on top of head . I feel like this was designed for a child size head . With that said , id recommend it as a backup headset or if you get a nice discount. Otherwise, id recommend a Steel Series Arctis 1 or 3 for just a few more $$ if youre looking for a wired headset at a decent price.

The only brand my son asks for when it comes to his online gaming. The quality seems to be lasting & it’s been going on 2 Christmases since we’ve purchased it. Still going strong! Zero complaints! Definitely recommend!
