Some of our wired model headsets (i.e. Stealth 300 and Recon 200) require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.
Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).

So they are wired headphones but your can’t use them unless the battery is charged, that’s step one. Second thing that drives me insane is you need to turn a switch to turn them on and when you turn everything off and you don’t turn the little switch off on the headphones they die and the next time you want to play you can’t because they are dead.

The box says this headset is not compatible with chat on the Nintendo switch but for Fortnite you can use the chat with this headset. sounds great too.

I have one I use for my Xbox One or PS4. My son uses one for Xbox One and my daughter uses one for Switch. Great game sound and mic quality.
