Description on box and BestBuy website leads you to think it's included. Never used it. Just came across it recently, still in the box. So I gave it one star.

I'm a gamer and I personally wear the Astros. Anyway my son plays online almost everyday and needs the mic to work well. This maybe just a fluke. However if others are having issues with this model and brand, I would not recommend these.

The microphone is not permanently attached to the headset. It inserts into the headset and clicks into place. The problem is the mic won't stay in place and flops around freely. It is impossible to use.
