Great sound great microphone Everything is perfect

I bought these to replace some awesome cheap turtle beaches that I bought about 4 years ago (which still work great, but don't work with my new setup unfortunately). They are alright for the price, fairly comfortable, but the sound just wasn't good enough for my needs. I play a lot of FPS and I couldn't even hear where shots and explosions were coming from so I had to return them. They'd probably work fine for some but I just couldn't recommend them for players of Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc.

I bought the Xbox series X, and I needed a good gaming headset, so I purchased Best Buy's lowest price option of compatible headset. That purchase was for the Turtle Beach Recon 50x, or something like that. The speaker quality in the headphones was great! Wonderful sound quality, however, the attachable microphone would not work when I plugged it into my controller. Keep in mind, this is with ZERO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY this would not pick up my voice. So yeah, completely useless for the purpose to which I purchased it. I had to return this item.

My son went through two other brands of headphone microphones and they just did not hold up to his use. These work great and are tough enough for kids. They take a lot of abuse and don't break! We love them!

We have had our headset for just under 2 months. Bought for my son so he and his brother could communicate in-game when playing Xbox. Headset comfort is fine and early on, audio was sufficient and mic got the job done. about 30-days in, the headset audio would not work sometimes when starting up. eventually spinning the audio jack or doing a full reset of the Xbox would fix the issue. now the headset audio does not work at all with the Xbox. it will play music through another source like my computer but not at all with the Xbox controller. We have tried on 5 different controllers, made sure controller batteries were charged and settings correct on the actual Xbox and still nothing. The seating of the 3.5mm jack feels very flimsy and it seems the way the jack seats in the controller is an issue (generally seems loose). I am a turtle beach fan. our other headset, a wireless stealth 700, works perfectly but we didn't want a more expensive set for our second Xbox which gets much less use. this was cheaper but the quality matched the cost. Still communicating with Turtle Beach support so hopefully a resolution can be found or a replacement provided but at this point, I am disappointed with the purchase and would not recommend buying this headset.

Its a good head sett comfortable but the mic part its to big and gets in the way sometimes and that there is no specific volume ajustments but its still good

I bought this headset with microphone for my 11 year old son. He chats with friends and plays games using this and it works great. Great buy for $40.
