Had to purchase a new controller though to connect, but once I did they worked as intended.

Great starter headset for Xbox kids love it just Gotta be careful with the cord.

I've brought the white version of this headphone for some reason the black one is smaller in size. I didn't know this until after I had already opened the box and by then I decided to keep it bc it would be a hassle to try and return it to the store.

It's okay worth the price. Much better models out though

I have since this original purchase already purchased a second of this headset (my kids broke the jack on my first headset, which took effort, I am sure). It is a great headset that has suited me well for many hours. The only gripe I have is that my head is quite large (like Sputnik), so the band rests on my scalp and is a little uncomfortable after more than an hour of use. My kids have no complaints, though. I use these for gaming and conference calls, and they have a handy mic off switch on the cable so I can quickly mute the mic if needed. The mic does pic up sound from around me, so I'd like a mic that does better at eliminating noises not immediately next to it, but these are great for the price!

This headset is great. You just plug it in, and your ready to game. Best part is you can mute the TV, or not. Give them a try.
