Didn't want to spend 80-100 bucks on a new headset. Had the Xbox headset that you buy separately that stopped working, and this one is way better. Needed the adjustable mic.

Definitely a good investment, my kids are very rough with their devices hard to find a heavy duty blue tooth headset.
