Unfortunately you cannot do both. The product box isn’t clearly marked either .After several emails to Turtle Beach and Microsoft it was clarified that you can only listen to chat but no game sound. I previous set from insignia was able to have both sounds come through the single earpiece

The headset it’s self is very cheap feeling almost no Cushion whatsoever. Overall bad design. The mic itself is bendy and I don’t like that. To sum this up it’s cheap you have to put it together and is very gimmicky. I think the other reviews on here are not realistic to what this junk is. Hope this helps.

Great for beginner player that's not so equipped
