Q: Do I need an Xbox adapter to plug it into my Xbox one controller?
A: if you have the old controller yes if you have the 3.5mm controller no
A: This is a regular Xbox One Head set. It has the 3.5 mm headphone jack. It feels funny at first but you get used to it quick and then it feels fine. I am not sure what the call of duty thing is about.
Q: Will this mic fit plug into a Mac computer?
A: Yes, this can connect to a 3.5mm headset jack. If your computer is equipped with separate jacks for Audio and Microphone purposes, you would be in need of an additional cable known as a PC Splitter Cable.
Q: Can these headphones work with a ChromeBook?
A: If the Chromebook is equipped with a CTIA 3.5 mm headset jack, then the headset can work with it.

A: Yes these headphones do work with Xbox one s my daughter uses them with hers and they work great
