Don't buy from Turtle Beach. Go to anyone else

You'd think you are getting a good pair of headphones for the price that you pay but you aren't. I've been through two of them in about 2 years and they keep breaking on me. I've spoken with their customer support and they don't want to do anything anymore. Go buy headsets from any other company and im sure they will last a lot longer and you won't have to wait weeks for replacements or to not have them replaced at all. I basically have a paperweight now.

Ps5 turtle beach headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two pairs off these and both have been returned first one was a refurbished unit two days later they stopped working completely no power to the unit took back though maybe i will just buy new 4 months in to having them and same problem went to go use them again no power like come on al that money for them to fail no more turtle beach

Crackling audio right out of the box.

I looked up "why is my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 max wireless headset crackling?" and was greeted with dozens of posts and reviews of the same issue. Apparently the "fix" is to download the TB App on PC then run a repair tool. For the price I paid I'm not doing any of that. If I wanted to mess with firmware updates I'd buy a cheep set off wish. These are being returned to the store immediately.

GARBAGE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Annoying and poorly made. The plastic snapped on the left where the head strap attaches to the earphone. This is where the tension acts to hold the headset your head. I had this headset for 6 months. Along the path to it being physically destroyed i had constant software issues and you can only control the headset through an app on your phone. Not ideal. Dont buy these.

Ehhh maybe?

The main reason I got this was to support dual connections. It needs to be power cycled to get a good connection to the usb, on ps5, otherwise it's very quiet. Windows support is lacking.

HORRIBLE SOUND FOR PS5

Returned within 24 hours. GO WITH THE 3d pulses, or steel series 7p. Way to expensive for a bad sounding headphone.

In order to conserve battery life, your headset will power off after no audio is played through it for 10 consecutive minutes. This is a fixed feature and cannot be adjusted.

Stopped working

The stock of transmitters available on the website are for customers who are no longer within their headsets warranty period, or for those customers who misplaced their transmitters as misplaced parts would not be covered under our aforementioned warranty.

That feature can have an affect on the background noise picked up by your microphone. That same app can be used to adjust the headset's Microphone Monitor (your own voice playback in the headset) volume level & several other features.

Cheap plastic will break easily

The cheap plastic can't handle the flexing of putting them on/taking them off your head. My head band snapped after about a month of use. I have totaltech, so it was easy to get my money back, and I put that toward a much higher quality headset with a metal head band.
