Not gonna lie. I really wanted to like these. Not having the functionality as my Elite 800x headset is a turn off for me. I like movie mode and foot step focus on my 800's but i have to run my optical to my tv which gives me an audio sync issue. The gen 2 max are comfortable. The build quality is good. Multi platform compatibility is great but the 800x surround sound is more detailed. At least to me. I bought the Astro A50 headset that are just ok but worked on Series X but I cant find a good balance for chat and game. I still have axweek to take them back. Who am I kidding. Im taking them back.

The headset is amazing from the long battery to the mic quality, this headset has all you need.

The color, comfort, and quality was good. Here is the issue. Corsair, Steel Series and every other competitior has a far superior app and driver support . Turtle beach said PC on the box, but could barely stay comnected to the PC. (13900K/32GB Ram/RTX 3080ti) high quality gaming pc. No control over equalizer. The app just "connected" the device. It wouldn't allow any changes, profiles, anything... the stark difference in this and a Corsair Void/Virtuoso or a Logitech anything as an example ... they work insanely fast, have a great software suite, have gaming profiles & chat profiles, allowing for frequency sliders and all sorts of synergy with other products. Turtle Beach does none of that. If you wanna play on a PC, don't choose Turtle Beach.

I really like these headphones they check all the boxes. They are comfortable during long gaming sessions. The sound quality is very good also.

Excellent battery life, snug fit nice change from wired. The mic though seems to high up wish it was lower to the mouth and not the nose area.

DO NOT PURCHASE! These headphones will not connect to your Xbox on the first, second, third attempts of turning them on and off again. Sound quality is okay for the price. Build quality is lacking, my left ear piece broke along the plastic molded piece so there is no repair available rendering them to one ear only. I have experienced these headphones glitch so many times it’s impossible to count. Volume knob unresponsive, spin it all you want it won’t do a thing… not connecting after 5-6 off and on resets… mic not working while headphones is connected and playing sound… cheap thin plastic which holds structural integrity or lack there of… buy something other than turtle beaches. This is the last time I give them my money. ps this review is after using them for a year

Just under 1 Yr review. Just like the last 2 the plastic construction around the ears has cracked and broken again. This has been the 3rd set that has done this. I love the sound quality but the construction is sub-par. This will be my last pair.

I have never had a problem with it, it works super good. The audio in it is amazing. I use it for COD mainly and I guarantee you can hear everything from any direction to the point it may seem like you are hacking.

Great sound and quality. The last turtle beach headset last 5 years. And i hope these last longer.

Great sound. Connects to my phone and long battery life. It is a little snug, but as with previous turtle beach headsets, they will break in.

Sound quality on this headset is incredible for a good price. The only reason its a 4 is for the fact some portions feel real loose and should feel more premium

This headset is light and very comfortable. The battery has a very long life. I've played a couple hours a day and normally only charge once a week.

I tried several headsets and this one was my choice based on build quality, audio, and the ability to connect with bluetooth devices. The audio adjustments work great with the Turtle Beach App. The headset clamping force eases up after use and not excessive. Cooling get in the ear pads is also a nice feature and helps reduce heating up around the ears. Ear pads are also generously padded. If you like super human hearing, this unit has it. Overall, best gaming headset I have owned.

Love this! Great sound. Only issue is mic detection on discord. Do not know if it is the program or mic itself. I just reset voice settings and it works.

Turtle beach is back with this headset. The sound is amazing the cooling gel in the cups are amazing so, you can game for very long without getting your ears hot.

Sounds good, qualty made, easy to set up, i can play for hours and hours and it dont hurt my ears and its glasses friendly
