Sound was very good and it was comfortable but the random crackling just wasn’t necessary. Went to G Pro wireless

Starts buggy just update firmware and GtG

UPDATE THE HEADSET AND TRANSCEIVER. To update firmware: download the updater from turtle beach. If your updater won't stay open make sure you "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" and make sure to have both headset and transceiver plugged into your computer/laptop. Latest firmware update fixes all those bugs.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be aware that this model suffers from a software or hardware defect that leads to the volume wheel being unusable and thus your headset being stuck at whatever volume level it was at when it stopped working (max volume for mine). If you are outside of the normal return window, Best Buy will not let you return it unless you fulfill (waste) your protection plan on it if you bought one - despite it being a clear manufacturer defect. Going through Turtle Beaches MFG warranty replacement process will almost certainly have it replaced with the exact same model that will very likely have the exact same issue within days or weeks. Check around on various forum websites and you will find countless reports of this being an issue. Know before you buy. As a supporter of TB products for the last 20 years, I'm extremely disappointed and will never purcahse TB again.

But after a week or so of using them I feel that they weren’t as loud as I was hoping that they would be. And that is why I returned them and for the Steele series Nova.
