Gamer is very happy with the headset, says no issues.

Man!! You would think these are so durable but they aren’t. The metal band is so much stronger than the plastic holding it back. If you are frequently putting them on and taking them off, these aren’t for you. DO NOT STRETCH THEM AT ALL! Other than that audio is pretty good, mic is fair also.

If you are a serious gamer, and especially if you play a lot of first-person shooters, great sound is paramount for not only enjoyment, but success during competition. I have been using some of the best headsets for the last several years and wanted to give this Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Max a try. First impressions of products like these (premium electronics) usually start with packaging. It’s well packaged but not the best I’ve seen. When opened, the headset has a very distinct look, and the blue color with bronze-y highlights really pops – it’s a good-looking headset. The Stealth 700 Max is well built. It is primarily plastic, but sturdy with precise movements in the hinges and great padding on the ear cups. Once I started handling the headset, I noticed the weight. It is a bit heavier than my other premium headsets – quite a bit. I have a fairly large head – I could almost eliminate the “fairly”. The Stealth 700 is one of the few headsets I don’t feel like I must set the band near the limits for a good fit. And about that fit, it’s snug. For some, I can see this being an issue if playing for long periods of time. The earcups provide enough pressure to give that closed off feeling. They block outside noise pretty well, and that’s a good thing – more on that later. Set up was very easy. Plug in the adapter, pair, and you are ready. I would strongly recommend updating your headset first. You will need a PC for this. This seems to be par for the course for this level of headset, but I really wish we could get an app on the console to handle this. First sound impression for me was.. Where’s the volume? The volume is very “controlled”. I can understand not wanting to threaten hearing damage, but I really expected a higher volume range. I can say I didn’t have any issues hearing game sounds, and I think that’s a direct result of how sound-proof the earcups are. However, in comparison to other headsets I’ve used, the volume level is very low. Having said that, the sound quality is fantastic. It’s very balanced and it seems to somewhat reflect the settings in the Dobly Atmos app for my Xbox. For me, where the Stealth 700 really shines is in SuperHuman mode. I play a lot of first-person shooters, and hearing footsteps and various sound cues is everything if you want to be successful. SuperHuman mode seems to amplify every sound that’s important. I mean, it’s almost too good, especially when you are playing in a closed in area where chaos is going on. Sure, other headsets can be tuned to give you similar results, but this is executed better than I’ve ever experienced with simple press of a button. Well done Turtle Beach. If you are a serious FPS gamer looking for a quality gaming headset that doesn't break the bank, this may be the best option. Not only does it have quality sound but includes nice features like Bluetooth connectivity for phones and tablets, flexibility for use with all consoles and laptop/PC, separate game and chat volume controls instead of the standard mixer, and very good battery life. The game volume is lower than I expected, and it doesn’t quite respond as well as my other rig when it comes to the Dolby Atmos app. But the sound quality along with the SuperHuman mode makes it a must have in my book.

Got the headset couldn’t even control the volume of the headset. Plus the headset is very cheap not even durable.

Headset has amazing audio quality but I’ve gone through 3 of these, each breaking at the exact same spot. The left swivel spot cracks every single time I get this headset. Extremely disappointing coming from Turtle Beach to use such brittle cheap material.

Sound is perfect and Bluetooth works like a charm.

These headphones were great. My son loves them. The spatial sound is much better than the previous set of turtle Beach headphones definitely worth the price.

When bluetooth connecting to my phone it doesn't always connect calls and audio just calls sometimes.
